Working in 2 companies to get 1 year experience?

Certainly possible. Doesn't have to be continues either: Company A -> Gap -> Company B You're good as long as both positions you held are in NOC 0, A or B category and the combined total of work experience duration is 1 year.

IELTS score for NOC 0 type

@Big_Boy, Your posts do not bother me. But it does bother me to see too many questions on IELTS in the CEC section, while the requirments are explained clearly in the CIC website. CEC is based on a pass/fail system. Once you meet the requirements, there's nothing to worry about.

IELTS score for NOC 0 type

Can you guys stop posting IELTS questions in the CEC section? There's an entire section dedicated to IELTS: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/ielts-international-english-language-testing-system-b53.0/ And please visit the CIC website once in a while. It's supposed to...

Montreal- Social group to validate/Process PR application to be submitted in '15

Are you sure it's urgent? I can help review the "completeness" of your application, not for free :D, but then again, with no guarantees whatsoever. I am applying on my own by the way.

How long to wait for medical call

From what I have observed in this forum (and this is purely my personal observation), applicants can, "usually", expect to receive it ~7 months , at the latest, from the date their apps are received at CIO.

    Passport validity?

Hello Maria, -> You should not have any problem applying at the moment. Send them copies of the passport again (after getting AOR) once it's renewed. -> You can get medical exams done in your home country. You don't have to be in Canada. You are free to go home. =)

CELPIP Scores for PR Under CEC Validate

No, but you can request a re-evaluation. Costs $55. There is hope, because the Speaking section is not evaluated by computers, but by human examiners. However, it takes 6-8 weeks for Paragon to get back to you with the results of re-evaluation.

    Counting started for 12,000 cap

Lol, more forecasts. So we both agree mid-November might be too late to apply. Anyways, let's not discourage potential applicants. Even CIC itself would not be able to come up with an accurate forecast - so there's still hope!

    Counting started for 12,000 cap

Yes, it gets returned pretty quickly, because they won't check to see if it's complete.

Have to agree with you, but we may never know.

    Counting started for 12,000 cap

No. It's clearly (latest update) 2,486 / 8,000 in CIC website. Does not include old submissions before resetting caps. EDIT: I see your point. But then again, would the following apps count towards the new cap or old cap: those that were sent (mailed) before May 1 but for which the AOR were...

    Counting started for 12,000 cap

The "number of total apps received" in CIC website represents those for which AOR has been sent out. You based your response on the figure from August 12, which was 2,147. Assuming it takes 50 days to receive AOR: -> 2,147 actually represents all apps received on ~ June 22. -> So basically...
