@nicolairaw Rules are changing. Wait till Express Entry is launched in January 2015.

    7. Write anything you want. "Science" is ok. 8. Try "unemployed". That's what I did.

I am about to do the same. Hope God is on my side!

    EXPRESS ENTRY - Please Help

Common sense says the Job Bank is only for those without a NOC 0/A/B job offer. Anyways, how do you expect anyone here to know more than you do about Express Entry?

Field of study - secondary school

@CEC_1304 and @CEC_pr_hopeful: You guys seem to get along really well - why not +1 each other to negate the -1s?

Field of study - secondary school

@Pearl1, you worry too much my friend. VO will most likely not reject you for not being very specific about your field of study in secondary school! To answer your question, try "Grade 10" (i.e. for the field of study as well) or "Not Applicable" for grade 10.

    Counting started for 12,000 cap

Since you have 1 year of experience as a Chef, as you claim, the recommended approach is to apply for CEC because your application will be processed faster. Note that Cooks are no longer eligible to apply for CEC. PS: if you gained your experience outside Canada, CEC is not an option.

Case in point: I - -> had my last final exam in mid April 2013 -> last semester ended on April 30, 2013 -> received PGWP much later In my case, the last day of my final semester was April 30, 2013, even though I was done with the final exams much earlier. I guess the same applies for you.

    Does Co-op Count in experience?

No they did not "remove that thing". A co-op student is considered a full-time student, regardless of whether you were enrolled in academic courses or not. So, NO is the answer.

Not necessarily. Anything that shows you completed degree requirements is good enough. A letter from the university or a transcript showing you "graduated" or "completed degree requirements" on some particular date would suffice.

    Short term part time job

Don't bother. Don't make it so complicated and confusing for the VO. Confused VOs are known to reject applications. Only list experience you want to use for CEC. The rest can be in the background declaration.

    Short term part time job

"Will have to"? I don't think so. Note that section 5 of schedule 8 says "list your occupations within the 3 years preceding the date of your application", NOT ""list ALL your occupations". As long as OP has listed the other occupations in OP's background declaration, OP should be fine.

Which means you completed degree requirements in February. You can start counting work experience from February onwards. And if you do not use any pre-February experience, then you don't have to answer "Yes" to being "a full-time student during any of the above periods".

    PGWP refusal

I think, as others have suggested, best option is to get a lawyer and apply again. Good luck for the next attempt! Two different VO cannot make the same mistake in a row.

While you were taking this one course online, where you a full-time student at NAIT? In universities (not sure about NAIT), one has to take 3 courses / semester to be considered a full-time student.

No you don't need a job offer or LMO. But make sure your experience qualifies for CEC. Your NOC number depends on your job responsibilities, and not on your diploma or job title - no one can help you unless you list the responsibilities.

Does AOR mean the applicant is basically qualified?

No, it means Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR). Regardless of what one assumes AOR to be, fact is you can still get rejected after receiving AOR.

    can application be rejecteed

Yes, but depends on the nature of the basis of rejection. Usually, ineligible work experience or falling short of 12 months can get you rejected right away.

Since January 2013, the date you graduated does not matter. Once you complete your studies and cease to be a full-time student, you can start counting your NOC 0/A/B work experience.

Confusing. Answer the following so I can try to help you: When did your academic year officially end? When did you start working? How come you were working at the time you applied for WP? It's illegal to work without a valid WP.
