My story:
Finished studies: Dec 2011
Got job: Jan 2012
Got PGWP: Feb 2012
Convocation: June 2012
Applied for PR: Mar 2013

GCMS says eligibility passed even though I worked 5 months before convocation...

Did your transcript says when u confer your degree

not sure about that. anyways, they dont ask for transcript anymore...

that's true for but some reason some VO's take your graduation from the day the degree or diploma got conferred...there is no clear cut date for graduation as specified by CIC

so its totally depend on VO

yupp...I am eligible from end of June but I am holding back because I got my diploma in July end

yes its better to be safe...I am falling short 1 month if they count confer date...I applied because thats what my friend did and he got PR ..but i think they are making me wait from last 9 month and high chance that application will be rejected. Are their any chances that my application may be approved ..

Yeah I checked from my friends..for 2013 they dont require any educational certificate ..they are calculating from PGWP

Though I am waiting for my gcms notes..But should i be hopeful that they calculate my work experience from PGWP....which is 29 sep 2011 and my application was received on 31st october 2012. On transcripts degree confer date is 10 November 2011. I fall short of 17 days. Took a break of week between two jobs or may be consider my updated reference letter..Hope they wont reject it based on few days
