Apply for CEC but forgot to do tax return last year

Your friend just remembered he forgot to do his tax returns before May 2014? I don't think there is any way to get NoA quickly. CRA will take their time.

QUESTION REGARDING RECENT APPLICATION- URGENT HELP- NEED TO RE-SEND APP

You got your package returned in 1 month 1 week. Right now it takes 55 days to receive AOR. 1 month 1 week < 55 days That's good, because if they must return it, they better return it soon, before the cap is reached.

+1 for the info. So when they return your package, it's quicker than getting AOR.

QUESTION REGARDING RECENT APPLICATION- URGENT HELP- NEED TO RE-SEND APP

@immigrantbee, As nov1061 said, if all your forms are up to date, I don't see any reason why they won't accept it. And just out of curiosity, when did you file your application (or when did CIO receive your application)?

    CEC after Express Entry

The number (close to 3000) posted in the CIC website can be very misleading. As I understand, this number represents the total number of "complete applications" received as of the date it's updated. In other words, CIC has sent close to 3000 AORs for applications received at CIO since May 01...

Applying for CEC after obtaining CSQ

Rejecting the Quebec offer and having no other ties to Quebec definitely works in your favor. Having said that, there is still no guarantee that the VO handling your case will let you off, but you do have a better chance than someone working in Quebec at the time of processing their application.

Applying for CEC after obtaining CSQ

Yes of course you can apply, but having CSQ makes it harder to convince your VO that you don't intend to reside in Quebec. Has anything changed since receiving CSQ that makes you want to leave Quebec? This "change" could be the key to convincing your VO.

CEC and a Job in Quebec

@hello3348 Thanks for posting. Helps us get a better understanding of CIC's requirements. I am also applying without a lawyer and left my permanent Montreal based job recently to strengthen my "intent to reside outside Quebec". Here's to hoping I get the same VO!! =)

    September 2014 - CEC Applications

Don't worry. You can request CIC to change it to CPC-Ottawa before receiving PPR, if you're still in Canada by that time.

AFAIK, they return all incomplete application packages, unless the missing document is PCC. I could be wrong though.

    Software Developers (2174/2175/2173) thread

Fellow Developers, Let's share our experiences with the CEC application process in this thread! I have just sent my application to CIO and waiting for AOR at the moment. I am sort of curios to see the list of responsibilities other developers have in their employment "letter of reference"...
