Which document regarding "evidence of work experience"? If it's one of the forms, letter of reference or a copy of your work permit, there is a 100% chance that your application will be returned. If it's none of those, it's unlikely that your application package will be returned.
Correction: Around 3000 COMPLETE applications have been accepted by CIC. Considering it takes around 60 days to receive AOR, there's quite a large backlog of applications waiting to be acknowledged.

Working on implied status? You transitioned from being a student to a worker. The status implied would be that of a student, not a worker. Correct me if I'm wrong.

But looking at the current trend, it's very likely that you will receive your AOR before Nov 13 if you send it "right now".
