Guys, I am just wondering my passport is expiring on nov 2015 and im sending my application for CEC in the first week of sep for sure, waiting for my ielts test, should i renew my passport first , it will take about 2 months i found out. or can i just send the copy of my current passport with cec app now and get my passport renewed after? will they effect my application in any way? Also, can you send the application and travel outside like if i dont apply for my bowp and just wait until a decision is made on ma application but then how do i send medicals n stuff? m so confused bcz i really wanna go back home for a longer time like 6 months at least. should i get a bowp n then quit my job n go back home?

Just go a head and apply now with ur current passport, I was in the same situation, when I applied back in Feb, my passport was expiring in Feb 2015, I applied with old passport and got an AOR, then applied for new passport, it took like 2 months. after I got the new passport I sent its scanned copies to CIC, And all done.. If you wait until you get your new passport , first it will delay your application process, second it will put you on a tightrope because of the CAP.
