Hello everyone . Can anyone help me With this . I uploaded my spouse Wes report where they asked for diploma or degree documents . I thought Wes report is enough but I see people getting rejected for not uploading the degree along with Wes. Is it possible to send a CSE and attach the degree with it and write some words apologizing I forgot to attach the degree. Will they accept it or I should wait for any response from them ??
Just further to what CanadaWeCome is saying not only upload the degree, but transcripts as well. I joined this forum at the beginning of October and I have not heard of it recently but I think maybe mid to late November some people said they were rejected because of not uploading transcripts. So if you have transcripts why not upload them as well. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Hi all,
regarding the PCC address issue ..

I read the information here and checked how things are in my country.
So the format of the PCC is this :

name, identification number, current address, names of parents, place of birth
then it says "the person has not been convicted"

It does not include any previous address and is not separated by address. Should I try to ask them to include my previous address? I lived in the same address since I was 18 with small stays in a different country. However, I moved to my husband's address in october ..

What should I do in this case?
the authorities over here (Egypt) issue the PCC identical to this exact format too

Very sorry to hear about that. PCC from India? Din't you go through BLS for the Indian PCC? Both LOE and the receipt are good supporting documents but wonder why they din't send you a request again or there was no estimated date mentioned on it? Do you have the PCC now?
Estimated date was mentioned in the LOE, not on the receipts. Indicentally, my wife's PCC got received on the day CIC cancelled the app as incomplete, mine came in two days later. Nevertheless, sent a CSE which is awaiting response and created another EE profile. Lets see

Hi Concorde,

Sorry to hear this. I crossed similar situation. I have not included indian PCC for my spouse as i only included Middle east pcc where i am staying currently.

They rejected next day i submitted my application.

In your case, they should not do that as you have included LOE. However, i suggest to send CSE and also create new profile simultaneously. If they open your application, you can withdraw new one.
Done the same. Hope for the best.

How about your case now? Did you resubmit?

Hi concorde sorry to hear about this situation. To a broader point, can you explain why it takes such a long time to get PCC in India?

I am from Australia and when I order my Federal Police Certificate I get within 15 business days. From what people on this forum write it seems like Police are hesitant to provide the Certificate. Same applies for Indian Universities. From what I read from people's posts on this forum it seems like its impossible to get transcripts sent to WES or other ECA assessing organization. In contracts my Australian University sent my transcripts to 'University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies' in 7 working days.

Am I missing something?
Since both me n my wife are in Canada, typically, we should have gotten our PCC from the BLS office here in Canada, but their website stated that PCC may take a few months. So going the easier route, we started the process from India.

My wife's passport bears Delhi address whereas mine has Chandigarh's. We confirmed from New Delhi Police dept that online is the way to go and it takes a cpl of days. We went that route, they verified at the given address but rejected the pcc stating the applicant is Out of India which was indeed preposterous since we got her PCC in 2014 as well the same way and it was issued without any hiccups.

At the same time, since chandigarh police dept didn't have any online option, it had to be done manually. But here, they needed an Authority letter from me stamped at the Indian consulate here in Canada that I am authorizing xyz person to collect my PCC on my behalf which was even strange. To avoid any delays or the risk of exhaustion of those 60 days, we submitted the application with LOE, receipts for my wife's PCC application through the consulate here in Canada, and my Authority letter that we sent to India.

Meanwhile, they cancelled the application on this ground:

The letter of explanation regarding the Police Certificate from INDIA you have provided with your application, has been reviewed, however, with the absence of proof of submission for that Police Certificate, we are unable to determine that you made your best efforts to obtain the required document.

I am sorry to hear that, don't lose hope and do the following:

1. Create a new Express Entry profile
2. Completely leave out the less than one year foreign experience
3. Set your funds to 0
4. When asked if you have a valid job offer? Answer is "No" unless you have an LMIA approved job

The above steps should qualify you for CEC and hope you will get your ITA very soon.
Thanks a lot, I'm doing it now

Applied for PR after getting invited for FSW in August 2015 and just received my refusal letter yesterday afternoon. Shocked! My post-graduate work permit expires this July 29th.

The reason for rejection was (according to them) due to my previous work experience here in Canada as a Graphic Designer (6 months from July 2013 - Feb 2014, right before my current job) not satisfactorily following its respective NOC's description even though the work that I sent to them upon their request was enough proof. They said that at the time I applied... since the NOC of my previous job apparently didn't exactly describe what I did, the points I received then were now not counted anymore and hence it is refused.

My fiance (who is a Canadian citizen) and I have been planning our wedding in India this coming May 2016 for months now, so I guess we have another option now to go the Spousal sponsorship route even though it is not really as convenient as Express Entry in many ways. Would like anyone's opinion on this if possible: would applying for Express Entry again would be a risk since my post-graduate work permit expires this July? Is it possible to appeal?

Thanks! I hope all works out for everyone here in the end... this truly does SUCK!

@prjkr, sorry to hear this. The only way to 'appeal/or give a reason against your refusal' is to send a Case Specific enquiry.

But, before you do you must have good reasons. Have another look at the NOC and look at if your reference letter is drastically different to what is on the NOC and also compare with CIC requirements.

This is insane.. they should consider the PCC request currently in the process...

What was the explanation you provided in LOE... and when did you applied for PCC through BLS... was it recently ...
if you dont mind, please provide the details... I am also in same situation...

I am in the process of getting a separate one for my earlier address. My country doesnt issue PCCs without addresses and time period on it.
