For different countries it is understandable.

"Geography bound" is the fault in PCC and CIC should accept it. If one has lived in 05 different cities then will he provide PCCs from 5 different police stations for the same country.. Not at all.
PCCs are always time bound and never (again generally 95% cases) geography bound especially within a country.

Imagine the state of a person who lived once upon a time in a country in 3 different cities for work/business and now stays in some other country and has to approach the authorities to get PCCs from all the three cities.

Ideally any country still issuing city specific PCCs in their country should change it to a central system.

Hi Asivad,

In your opinion I have to get multiple PCCs from different cities for the same country because my address history is showing that I spent 02 years in a different city for study purpose.

Although on my PCC it is mentioned that living in this district "since birth"
If push comes to shove...One would ideally then question the PCC. If you did not stay in the same address then how can the PCC say "living at XXX since birth?"

Well, coz permanent address remained unchanged.

I imagine that PCC would suffice - it covers the entire country so living in another city wouldn't require another PCC.

Well, ideally Yes, but we never know what CIC questions next.

Its only yesterday i saw a rejection from Pakistan based on PCC (not covering another city).

Do share that link so that we can confirm if it was the exact same situation.

I think he is talking about this link

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/reasons-for-rejection-t306713.0.html;msg4931012#msg4931012

Well, what i understood that her PCC was time bound, she also mentioned in trailing email that she got rejection soon after AOR :'(

It doesn't say it was time bound. It just includes the word 'current address' in the format, so i assume this is the format for PCCs there.

Yeah, how it got rejected immediately after the AOR is still a puzzle.

That post isn't entirely clear about what went wrong. Did anyone get that OP to share their PCC and/or the details of their refusal letter? Worth a try to get to the root of this.
I bet... 8)

Well, from her posts I understood that she was moved to her husband house after marriage within the same city. So, if city is same then it seems that on her pcc something with regard to date was mentioned like Xxxxx has been living in this district since 2011 ..........etc.

So, what about before 2011 , no PCC

It's my assumption.

Re: Reasons for Rejection

Hello everyone . Can anyone help me With this . I uploaded my spouse Wes report where they asked for diploma or degree documents . I thought Wes report is enough but I see people getting rejected for not uploading the degree along with Wes. Is it possible to send a CSE and attach the degree with it and write some words apologizing I forgot to attach the degree. Will they accept it or I should wait for any response from them ??

No harm in doing that...please go ahead and raise a CSE with a polite LoE apologizing for the miss.
