I doubt if this would be treated as misrepresentation. You could explain this in your LoE in an appropriate manner. Ultimately Police Department need not know your exact occupation. They have pre-defined categories for Visa issuance. I am a management consultant and my visa/paper PCC read "Computer Engineer" !! UAE was the worst experience in my lifetime to get a PCC!! Arrogant P&*cks.

viveks could you please confirm if the difference in PCC than your actual designation in your work reference letters cause any problem ? i'm in a similar situation because my PCC says i'm a messenger but i'm a software enigneer in work experience letters
