Processing Oct 24 as of today. Mine is Oct 28. No news on fingerprint quality/acceptance.

fBI site indicated 12 weeks not counting the courier

Just a quick update, my FBI clearance application reached them on Oct 16 2014, and I got my clearance mail on Feb 5th 2015.

They opened my packet around the end of Dec.

actually the site indicates 14 to 16 weeks, and as per forumites in this thread the current trend is 16w.

However if you call FBI, on the recorded messages on phone they say the processing time is 12 - 14 weeks.

Probably they did not update the recorded messages, the average processing time to date is 110 days that equals to 15 weeks, not only they state it on the FBI website but data from forumites support it.

p.s: I know this chart is a mess but serves for the purpose.

Friends, my application reached to FBI on Nov 7th, and my money order has not been cashed yet. Does the payment through money order (DD) takes longer compared to credit card payment? I'm asking this because that's what I observed in the payment to CIC before PER. I have already got one extension from CIC and I'm now pretty sure I wouldn't make it this time either. My new deadline is Feb 23. This wait is killing me. Can some of you estimate when I would receive it?

Don't worry. Relax and apply for another extension. I called fbi today and they are processing oct 24 today. This means your report should be processed in 2 weeks and 1 additional week to delivery at us address. You will definitely get your report before mar 15.

Also pray for us as well

@elpam123 If your payment mode has not yet been cashed, then I would call FBI to check what is happening with your package. Note that the FBI report takes close to 4 months to process, but your payment should be debited some time this month. Based on some posts on this forum it appears that FBI is opening applications from 12th November. We do not know though, if payments have been charged till 12th November.

I put "Canada Immigration Purpose" in my finger print card and the process completed and the result is now being sent back to me. So you can surely use this one.
