Check your BLS after this. Either way you should get it in 3-4 days after that status.

Hey, yes.. I finally have my OCI. The purolator guy left the notice to my door and didn’t ring the bell haha. But luckily it was left at a store near by for pickup and I was able to go get it around 7 PM today. Marks the end of a journey. I hope you get yours soon too.

Yes, for OCI, DD is a must. They wont accept debit or credit.

I'm just curious, why is your first name XXX? is it a cultural thing where you don't have a first name? or was it a mistake in your first passport and kept getting carried forward to avoid the pain of correcting it in multiple places?

I am now able to track my application id on purolator! picked up. & the status on BLS portal is now "(Passport ready For Dispatch after OCI stamping) "

Any change in your status? Mine's still showing (Counter Delivery to BLS Centre after OCI stamping) And I tried to track it on purolator with my application reference number as well, and nothing comes up.

Yes, OCI and PP. OCI is a form of Permanent Residence, and the airlines will treat it as such.

I’m not sure. I know purolator doesn’t deliver on Saturdays. But not sure if BLS sends it or not. Either way it should only be 2 more business days now until we get our OCIs.

No I believe they've even done away with issuing a new OCI after 50. Now you just need to upload a copy of your passport and a new passport size pic on the OCI portal, that's it.

As per the most recent rules, you don't have to do anything now until you cross 50 years of age, and then get your first passport renewal. At that point you'll just have to upload a copy of your passport into the OCI portal, thats' it!
