I see, good to know. Maybe they do care about either country of origin or if something stands out from application to them. I guess the lesson here is to still try with state and you may get lucky.

My agent has sent notice that my FBi clearance will be late. But part of the docs required from me is the state clearance and the police clearance where i was born and police clearance where i am currently residing/working.

I guess having 3 clearances is too much for them.. But nevertheless, it's worth a try

Can you tell me more whether for ur case SGVO accept ur submission of State PCC only ? What did you submit and how did you tell them so they let you submit State PCC instead of FBI? I really appreciate for it as my friend FBI pcc is an additional request because she left right after the application submitted. And when they request she already studied in the states for about 6 months and they still requested it when she asked them

My background is:
I am from the Philippines who worked in the US for 6 months on an assignment, I was also assigned in Switzerland for 4 months ad currently working in Malaysia for almost 4 years.

Since i worked in the US for 6 months, i was requested to produce FBI clearance and State clearance.
For the Switzerland, i was not requested because it was less than 6 months.
For malaysia, i was requested to submit the police clearance
I submitted a police clearance from The Philippines

My agent sent notice that i have requested for my FBi clearance and it will take 12 weeks. Upon receipt of the Malaysian police clearance and the US state clearance, the embassy was following up for my passport. My agent submitted my passport. 20 days later I saw the status as decision made.

I guess, 3 police clearances overwhelmed the officer.

I am 27th Oct Applicant .Called FBI today . They told me to call again on Tuesday for the finger print status.

I got my fingerprints done from the State Crime Records Bureau - I got two sets so I paid a whopping Rs.1000. I had brought with me printouts of the fingerprint form on bond A4 paper, but the agency guy suggested I do it on "board" paper - a thick A4 sheet that's also slightly glossy.

I came back with this after the Xerox hassle and the stupid process of going all the way to SBI in another part of the city to make the payment, got my prints done and submitted them to FBI.

FYI, I don't live in Chennai either.

Result? Fingerprints rejected by FBI after 5 months of waiting!!

I'm now sending fresh prints myself with using nothing but "kaajal".

What is the limit to how many sets you can send? I'm planning to send 5-6. Also, how many corrections can you make and do they give a damn if it's not a "Re-Tab" ? Some BS terminology!

my fbi application reached on the 13 of november

i got my cc charged on 10th of february !!!

now i'm really afraid they may reject them as the technician who done it for me seemed very unprofessional !!

Any one who sent the application to FBI using DHL.

Can you please confirm the name appearing on he proof of delivery. I had used DHL to send the application and it is showing destination as Columbus -OH for the tracking number.

The DHL customer care says that the destination is correct as they display the nearest sorting facility.

I have called FBI today to know status for my application which reached their facility on 24th Oct.
I came to know processing has been completed, and the copy of report has been mailed to my address by them yesterday !
So expecting it to be with me next week !
