got something in the mail today asking for more documents for the wife:

The High Commission is requesting more documents for Hina. They are requesting the following:

1. Generic Application IMM 0008
2. Schedule A IMM 5669
3. Additional Family IMM 5406
4. Supplementary Form for Pakistani Nationals Form
5. Photocopy of your marriage certificate in Urdu language
6. Updated original police certificates from all districts/areas from you and children over 18 (Original and certified English translation)
7. Marriage photos showing Barat, Rukshati, Valima, participation by relatives and family friends. The photos need to be labeled with names of the people, relationship to you, date and place of the photo)
8. Photos taken after the wedding and honeymoon with your sponsor and family members.

we filled out all forms and sent all the documents, marriage certificate and pictures, and now they are asking for them again. so frustrating. ugh.

Any one here from July 2012, Any updates, i can see may and june applicants getting response hoping to get remed and PPR next month. IF anyone from july get the reply please notify here. Thank you Jazak Allah


I got my Passport request June 13/2013 and my case file started January 2012, Aor April 2012.

we printed and filled in applications December/Jan 2011/12.


with the mariage certificate, they asked for only the english one before, now asking for urdu.

just a nusance to fill them in again is all.

It did not. Went straight to decision made. E-Cas is not reliable.

Anyone knows how long it takes Islamabad to approach the next step after they ask for additional documents? It's so frustrating, we have submitted the additional documents but after that nothing so far..

I guess it depends on the BFD they put on the files after requesting additional docs....

can u pls tell me who recd the letter for ur wife's additional documents?? you in Canada or ur wife in Pakistan ? and was it through regular post ?

They send it through reg post... big white envelope. .. goes to both... one in Pak will obv get it 2-3 days b4 due to local...

Salam guys, I hope everyone is doing good, I need some help, Im planning to bring my wife and new born son back home for some time, so I want to know whats the best and fastest way to do it, 1st get Canadian passport of my son and get paki visa on it? 2nd get endorsement of baby is his mother's paki passport and travel on that?
one more thing what if my wife apply for Canadian passport and gets it but she endorse our son in her paki passport and travel using that endorsement? will there be any problem?
also for endorsement do we need NICOP of baby?
important this whats the time frame for this process? for option 1 and 2, whats the maximum time they take to send the documents?
kindly someone with first hand info regarding this let me know .

regular mail. recieved in toronto. letter dated june 1 recieved june 12. completed the info, scanned to wife to have it sent back to embassy once new police certirficate is done. pervious certificate was done Jan 2012, they said it was outdated and needed another one :s.
