I need some input please. Do you think they conduct security checks again after submission of passport in a husband's case?

For everyone who has received ppr and its a husband case, do they perform security checks again or something or directly issue the visa and return the passport?

Did anyone else who received ppr in November receive their passport back? Does your status say in process?

We also received the originial Re PCC back this week which they asked for in June 2013 along with the remedical. On the top of the RePCC, it says scanned to immigration officer with his/her code on it and that its' uploaded on the GCMS storage. It says all this with a pen, and so I'm pretty sure...

I just called Islamabad embassy and they also said there not on strike. But they were quite rude though!

Like hubby chubby said, just the fact that you even have food, a roof over your head, something to eat, a place to sleep and a wonderful spouse is more than enough reason to worship ALLAH(SWT). May Allah(SWT) guide us all to the right path and help us reunite with our spouses. Ameen.

Just as an update, applied July 2012, received E-medical through email in June 2013 through email, and RE-PCC a few days later through mail. Did not receive any additional documents request. Insha'Allah we will all hear something soon.

Your file will eventually be processed by Islamabad in its final stages. The physical file will probably remain in Ottawa but the electronic file(created by Ottawa) will be the one used by Islamabad to process your case.
