Is USA State Clearance required as part of PCC

Back in Feb 2009 they made it necessary to have both state and federal PCCs but later they changed it again and NOW you only need an FBI PCC. If state ones are required they will ask you later.

    RESPONSE FROM THE VISA OFFICE

Hi Okshan It's good that you finally got a response. That friend of mine who received medicals from Tokyo office was also asked to submit her daughter's birth certificate and she had already done so! I guess they might not have seen the document. In your case, my feeling is that you need the...

TOKYO visa office is very FAST these days

Hi, So far people have received PPR and medicals together. This is based on my friend's and Shakira's experience. My friend did not receive a RPRF request but Shakira apparently did. I see this as more a sign of inexperience at the visa office than dependence on the case.

Hi there, A friend of mine has received requests for medicals+passport+updated proof of funds. But no request to pay RPRF. I guess they are waiting for the medical results to ask for RPRF. Do you recommend that she pay RPRF NOW and send the receipt along with other documents, or wait until...

STILL WAITING FOR FURTHER CORRESPONDENCE FROM THE VISA POST

Hi Okshan I am pretty much sure your case is safe, through background checks maybe. Your Ecas will not change to in process before you receive your medical request. Also people are getting rejected much faster at Tokyo office. So if they are late for you, that could be a good sign. That friend...
