    Interview for Canadian/American married couple

Agree, should be easy application if there aren't any flags. From my experience, the hardest thing was driving a couple of hours for the medical exam... and then waiting a couple of months.

Extending PR if working currently overseas

You have to be in Canada to submit the application. There are many comments from people on this board about visiting/driving into Canada and submitting an application with the address of family/friends, but I would agree that is questionable. In your situation, you should have met the RO, so...

Does RO only apply to last 5 years?

Where is this a regulation? While it has been close to 10 years, I am fairly positive that both of my employer's requested a copy of my PR card during hiring process.

Extending PR if working currently overseas

You could request a multi-use travel document, which would make it easier if approved

PRTD for US Citizen PR returning to Canada by air

Good evening - Seeking clarification on whether a PRTD is required for PRs who are US Citizens. Per guidance from CIC, the PRTD (or PRC) is required by all to comply with eTA, but US citizens don't have to have an eTA... so do they have to have a PR card or PRTD when flying into Canada? I...

Flag Pole near Peach Arch border, surrey, bc

I'd recommend considering the Sumas/Abbotsford crossing, which is more convenient for a walk over. It is a smaller station, so likely get through faster.

I used to commute through Surrey to Blaine; 30 minutes seems optimistic for Bellingham, have you tried it during normal and holiday periods?

Can I apply for PR while living in US with my wife who is a Canadian Citizen.

Yes,your wife can apply to sponsor you as PR from the US, and once you get your authorization you can wait until finding a job (I think it was a year) before moving, or so a short landing and then accompany your wife back to US until you found a job.

    How long

I don't recall it taking more than a couple days to complete the application, other than waiting for the FBI check and scheduling the medical. Very easy process, no reason to waste money on a lawyer.

Am I Really Not a Citizen?

Shouldn't need to seek advice on an open discussion board with all that experience.

    Importing my Car

Looks like you got the info, but yeah the odometer doesn't need to be changed. I didn't even get a sticker in 2007, but was able to pass.

PR Landing By Road - Questions/Need Help

My understanding, which may be faulty by time, is that if you didn't declare it at landing, you wouldn't be able to import in same way, which would lead to other expenses.

    Question on PRTD & Divorce

Marriage is still in place, including cohabitation, so no worries. There would be four+ years of accompanying at point of divorce, so seems like plenty of time to get ready for a return to CA. Is this anywhere in one of the guides or something official?

    Question on PRTD & Divorce

I am accompanying a Canadian citizen out of CA for last six years, so I am good on second part. But bolded is not clear. I finally find my old COPR from landing, but that is it. Any recommendations on what else to provide? I have a couple assessments (2008/9), a letter from my Canadian employer...

I didn't have my paperwork completeld correctly for export/import of car, and they wouldn't let me drive it across. I had to store it on the US side for about three months before he paperwork was completed (which is normally very simple). At that time I was told there was no way to cross over...
