Health Insurance - British Columbia (first 3 months)

I can't remember what we used in the interim after landing, but be aware that it isn't really 3 FULL months. I landed on the 27th and went to Service BC the next day to start the paperwork for MSP. The three days left of that month counted as a month:

Dual Citizen Looking to Move to Canada

Not only no reason, but you probably won't even get a citizen certificate due tonhaving. A Canadian birth certificate. My spouse and one child were born out of Canada so have citizen certa. Another child was born in and has just birth certificate.

Canadian citizen living outside of Canada sponsoring spouse to migrate to Canada

It may have gotten more restrictive, but when my spouse sponsored me 10+ years ago it was very easy... simply declaring intent to return. We didn't have rental agreement, school registration, Canadian bank accounts, job prospects, or any of the things that are now recommended.

Expired PR - RO req not fulfilled - US citizen

Why do you think Canada is a better place for you? Anyway, if you can get across the border without being flagged, and then manage without official Canadian ID for two years without leaving, you might be able to get back into compliance.

    Missing stamp on the COPR

This. I landed years back, but just looked at the COPR and old passport, and this is what happened - other than officer not initialing by document number under stamp in passport. No stamp on COPR, just pen answers, and officer's signature.

Housing/rent assistance after fulltime minimum wage job

Everyone has different expectations, I suppose, when I first landed I took the jobs that I could get. They weren't glamorous, and requires standing for most of shift, physical work. I didn't want to starve, so I got a second job... then later I was able to move into a better full time position...

    ID for returning PR

I have gotten hazy answers regarding this in the past, so hoping new people are on board who may have gone through it recently (or seasoned with advice). For a returning PR (accompanying Canadian citizen spouse outside of Canada) when the PR card is long expired. Are there any other options...

Does RO only apply to last 5 years?

This makes sense. Simply going off the SIN (or print out even) would t be enough. If there was other ID, that might be appropriate. In my case, all I had was foreign ID and PR card, so it makes sense they would check it.
