How to get a Canadian virtual Mobile No. for Job hunt while abroad

Thanks! Set up a Fondo account the other day and it was really easy. Incoming calls were glitchy at first, but seems to work fine now.

    Permanent resident travel document

I am accompanying a Canadian citizen out of CA for last six years, so I am good on second part. But bolded is not clear. I finally find my old COPR from landing, but that is it. Any recommendations on what else to provide? I have a couple assessments (2008/9), a letter from my Canadian employer...

Crossing boarder in sumas british columbia...need help?

They had an immigration desk in 2007, and this article/site recommends flagpolong there due to the accessibility/number of people. If you are in this area, it would be much easier than trying at Peace Arch. http://www.visatalk.ca/flagpoling/

Crossing boarder in sumas british columbia...need help?

I didn't flagpole, but I did land at Sumas in 2007. Other than having my car denied (due to not understanding export rules from us side), it was very quick there.

    Sponsor Income?

Yes, she had been out of country more than five years. We didn't provide anything from CRA, and I'm pretty sure she didn't file 0 income those intervening years.

    Sponsor Income?

Your situation is almost the same as mine. My wife sponsored me in 2007, as a homemaker (we had a CAN child, and another on way). She had only one year of employment in the previous five years, and that had ended over a year before the application. I don't have the application any longer, but...

How long in CA before apply for new PR

I was planning on using my inlaws, where I will be staying when I visit... and then getting them to express it to me. Not sure what else they could ask for. Hopefully don't need to pick it up, as I am in Asia. Please let us know how it works for you.

Where would this be stated? I don't see a question about it, just address in Canada.

How long in CA before apply for new PR

I have been away from Canada (accompanying citizen spouse overseas) for about six years, after living in CA for two. My PR card is obviously expired. If I travel back to CA (either with a travel doc or by land), can I apply for a PR card while on vacation in CA, or do I have to have established...

Got job in Canada but PR expiring soon soon

This is the problem. Sure you can work without a PR card (if you find an employer willing to hire without it), but you can't get any of the other needed documents. I am coming back to CA after about seven years, so the COPR is useless. How do people do it, just live off savings for months?

    Resettling with PR travel dox

I profanely landed in 2007, and after two years left to accompany my citizen spouse. (US and elsewhere). Looking at returning to Canada in the future, how hard would it be with just a travel document? I lost my PR card years ago. Anyone ever do this? Thinking about finding a job and being...

Returning to CA after 7 years accompanying citizen spouse - work with Travel doc

I landed as PR in November 2007 and left Canada to accompany citizen spouse in 2010. I don't have my PR card, as it was lost in a move. I know that I will need to apply for a PR travel document to fly back, and that establishes as still being in compliance with PR obligation (have accompanied...
