All over the world, ethnic, religious and cultural minorities don't vote conservative. In the US Afro-American and Hispanic vote for the Democrats, in India Sikh and Muslims vote for the INC, in Egypt Christian Copts vote for the Liberals, and so on. This is very natural. Conservatives usually stand for the dominant racial, ethnic or religious group. That's why most immigrants (or at least those coming from outside Europe and North America) tend to vote liberal or NDP but not conseravtive.
Interesting statement

because conservatives tend to like having different " classes" in the country. Some american or canadian borns do not want immigrants to be above them.So they try to squash immigrants as much as they can.

This is proved in my last sociology research. Please search for homosocial reproduction on google.

Then why the dominant portion of newcomers is exactly from South Asia.
If the Conservatives doesn't like this group of people whey would find a way to stop South Asians. But as you know is the opposite thing.

an immigrant is an immigrant regardless his or her country of origin however this is politics. If canada stops accepting chinese immigrants do you think the political relationship between canada and china will be good? the trade? This applies for india too.

Except mexicans of course.Because the US does the same thing for mexicans. They do not accept them easily too.

Are you kidding me? You think China has a relationship with Canada because Canada accept immigrants from them?!!! Tell me you are joking!

It actually looks bad for china that so many people want to run away from there and come to Canada.

And because immigrants tend to have less money than the rest and the liberals/leftists parties give more money to social activities.

Now, an skilled worker immigrant has a very different profile than a truly refugee immigrant so you can't generalize.

Giving more support to social activities benefit everyone.

1) public childcare and eldercare
2) employee training
3) better education system
4) more investments to innovation

We can consider Denmark as a benchmark.Would you guys not want to have public childcare or eldercare so you could focus on your work better?

In general the so called social benefits are decreasing little by little in the western world. That's why for me is very strange the strategy to have Canadian passport then living abroad and expecting the same situation after 10-15 years.

I'm sure that soon the Canadian government will find a way to stop the free medical care and to cut the social benefits for people living for a long time abroad.

I would totally support that. I hope conservatives propose this ASAP.

Well, the position of conservatives on immigration is governed by several factors, one of them is their negative stance on ethnic minorities, but also they want to please big corporations by constantly growing the pool of skilled labor so companies can hire at a reasonable cost. Of course the first choice to fill the labor gap is natural population growth (more births) and the second is immigrants from Europe, but these options are beyond the control of the Canadian government, so they have no choice but to go for the third option: accept immigrants from other countries.

One last point about Chinese immigrants. They, unlike many other ethnic groups, are known to integrate pretty quickly (change their names, go to church, interracial marriages, etc.) and thus don't pose a cultural threat from the conservative's perspective.

do you have any proof to support this from academic literature?

I am from the middle east.I have attended to all major religious activities in canada with my friends.
