so sorry about your MP experience! She sounds so unprofessional! What I read about GCMS is that retrieving the electronic info has nothing to do with visa offices but that it is done through a centralized office in Canada! CIC invested millions of dollars in the database so this could be possible. And everyone asks for GCMS so what she said is a complete nonsense!!! Don't let it get to you!
We had a great experience with our MP, it all depends on the person you bump into I guess, no rule. They contacted Vienna before the average processing time and at the same time I got an interview invitation I heard from them with the same info. Maybe they even reminded Vienna of my existence When we informed them about the positive outcome of my interview they offered to ask for an update again.
