I went to the MP's office today, and all I can say is what a disappointmet that was. The lady there pretty much told me to be patient, it's only been a few months over the processing times, there is nothing they can do. Then she said that since I requested GCMS notes last year they pulled my file and that also caused some delays. I told her it was an electronic printout not the physical file, so she sad it doesn't matter, they pull it. She was full of c..p

This is what she said about GCMS notes, they pull your file, then erase all the information from the printout that they don't want you to see and then they put you at the end of the line. I was ready to strangle her.

I was so upset I can't even tell you. Then she went on telling me that so, what is this your 3rd marriage? I could't believe her nerve and her attitude. I told her it was my 2nd marriage, then she asked how I immigrated to Canada, and look, your husband is younger then you. If this kind of people work in government offices then we are all screwed. So at the end she said they will send a letter to Ottawa not Vienna, because this is not an emergency!!!
I don't think I will be going back there with a consent to release the info.

Hhhhhhhh! I'm so angry after reading about your experience today! What the fuck?! 5 months over the processing time is ''nothing'' for her! Idiot! I understand how you felt, awful! I read so many topics on this forum about GCMS, and mostly people said that ordering them DOES NOT have influence on applicant's file!!! And I have no words on her questions about your personal life! First, third or fifth marriage, younger or older partner, I mean, hey, is it her problem?! I think it wasn't her bad day, I think she is idiot in her nature! Instead of helping, she discourages people!

Ignore UR MP... you will get it soon.. we are altogether 5. and atleast 2 cases are pending so dont worry on what she said. It is vienna who decides not your MP. so my dear Friend wait .. have little patience.

It is fine with me Dear!!! I intentionally asked this Question. The Reason .. Many of us have only this kind of Frustration that When will I get PR...so that we can meet our families.. but story doesnt end here.. Life goes on .. Tension Frustration are part and parcel of life and they do come... the Only person wins who has Patience and belief. I am sorry, but when i see most of my dear friends in this forum become frustrated when they dont hear anything.. So I as a friend has only this advise... Please dont spoil your Present with past or Future.

Nada3 experience today just shows what kind of people actually works on a high position in government institution.

I read on many posts how the MP's helped people, so I guess I just expected too much, and in return I got an ignorant person who couldn't care less about my problem. One thing is for sure , this MP will not have my vote.

One thing which always makes me smiling is sentence: ''lets hope, next week, we'll get some good news''. Many of us repeated it so many times... Well, lets the next week becomes the one we want finally!
