Wonder why my receipt number was not working on ecas though....ah well, fine by me now though.

So it looks like Ecas was not updated at all on Tuesday? Maybe I should just stop checking online and wait for the letter, which I should get quickly since I live close to Mississaugua. I have half a mind to go there and demand an update for all of us....

Was the approval letter sent through e-mail? The sponsor usually gets it, right? E-mail then ecas?

I was able to log on to E-cas using my receipt number and my information first, and received the letter about a week later. Nothing by e-mail (I am the sponsor).

The letter got mailed to my lawyer, they scanned it and e-mailed it to me (my lawyer is in Mississauga, so mail did not take long).

I can log into e-cas using the ID number I now have, but my receipt number does not work, really weird.

I am the sponsor and I was able to see update on e-cas first then 2 days after I received a letter with my client ID.

I am worried I will be unable to use my receipt because I sent 2 seperate receipts (1 receipt $490, 1 receipt $550). I will have to wait for the mail! Thanks you guys

My husband hasn't gotten an email at all about sponsorship approval. Just ECAS showing and our letter.

I think it's Buffalo that does that more- email.
