I used to consider applying outland as the convenient, 'better' option as my wife is here in the UK with me right now, but that is all set to change as she will shortly be returning home to Canada to take up a new job, leaving me to sweat it out until any news comes our way.

If it wasn't for the harsh realities of life, i'd be more than happy to be in Canada now on a visitors visa, but alas, holidays don't pay the bills!!!

As the weeks/months pass, i'll begin to wish we were still together going the inland route!

Hey Love_Young

Starting next Wednesday I go on a two week vacation in British Columbia at my husbands family's camp in the Rocky Mountains. I can't wait. The 28th there is a big party where we will be celebrating our (already six month old) marriage with his extended family. And the 29th I turn 29 years old. So that is what I am looking forward too/working for this week.

And then I start working part time at my job so I can spend more time with my husband in Canada (working three days a week vs. five).

So now that my Sponsor has been approved, I can log in using the Receipt number (R.....) but not the Client ID, and Ecas is really dissapointing. It just says "Decision Made" and the rest is generic. So folks, I would recommend not checking Ecas a ton while you're waiting, because it's rather anticlimactic once you do log in.

Does anyone know how long before I get my AOR from Buffalo and/or when they start processing? It looks like it's really slow!

as my husband lives in quebec,i do need a csq.does anyone knows how long it takes for the csq to be delivered?anyone applying from the ivory coast?

Love_Young and RRdiggy, good news, I was allowed to log in to E-Cas today using the receipt number and it says "decision made". Therefore, since we were all on the same date, hopefully this is the same for you guys too! Another good thing is that they said they mailed our letter on the 17th of August so I hope the same is true for you two too!

Hey rrdiggy76, don't worry yet! I was stressing out because others who applied after heard news before we did but our timeline was 34 days rather than the 30, but it's no cause to worry!! Those few days will be tough (they were for us) but it will come soon

Thats strange, I never heard of them asking to go pick up a letter but I really think it could only be good news...it might definitely be the AOR.

Boo! I made the names colored and it's screwing things up when editing.
