Congrats! That must be such a relief!

It's huge, they were otherwise looking at not having coverage until August of 2011! if it took the full 10 months.

It has only been 2 weeks but feels like 2 months. OMG when will time go faster.
I swear time was going by faster when I was having to put together the application then after sending it off.

Ugh....my impatience is showing through severely.

I am From Pakistan. My application was received on 21 july 2010. does any one help me about how long it will take for immigration office to make decision. I send my fees 3 months before sending my application. Thanks any suggestion will be great full.

Question regarding E-cas, I paid my fees in two installments online and got the receipts sent to me via e-mail. This is the IMM5401 everyone keeps talking about correct? The receipt number? I just do not see that reference anywhere on it. Also, which one would I use? The Sponsor fees or PR fee?

I know I cannot log in yet, but curious for when I can.

If you are applying outland, thru Islamabad it looks like it's currently taking 8-14 months after sponsorship is approved (another 45 days approx) to process.

I've been using that to try to login, but haven't been successful (didn't think I would be yet- it's early) I do think people have been successful with logging in with that # - perhaps a week after sponsorship was approved. Hopefully someone who knows will come along. I am trying to remember dates on posts Ive read within non-related threads (I mean I wouldn't be able to recall which ones). Perhaps trying in the June or May threads would help see what others are having happen.

And odd, but for my kids Certificate of Citizenship - we got an AOR with a Client ID and a Receipt # and neither work in ECAS. up till even yesterday! And we've had the actual Certificates in our hands for almost a week. It's crazy.

still haven't heard or received anything from CIC-M yet. i can't log in to ecas as well. a lot of people can log in to ecas after 30days and/or received their letter of approval...

i'm losing hope...

current processing time is 43 days. And I'm pretty sure that that means 43 business days.

don't give up yet!! I think it has a lot to do with how they organize the packages received. I'm pretty sure that's random.
