VOH kna po ba sis? Anung timeline mo? I'm still waiting for ppr. It's been forever naaaaa. i really do hope that one of this days, we'll hear from CEM too. i'm getting soooo stressed already. Btw, congrats po!

Hi MrsB, my timeline is under my name po. my hubby is not yet voh, nag PPR npo xa but wlang stated n validity ng visa. So i guess bka start plng pro hopefully mabilis n sana..

About sayo sis, wait k lng bka un ppr request syo is my validity n ng visa n nkalagay.

Hi, is it normal na application received pa rin ang status until now pero nagPPR and asked for payment of residence fee na ang CEM last may 28? Docs were sent last june 1. My husband emailed CEM for any updates last monday and they replied today stating that it is still in process? Anyways, im a march 2, 2015 applicant. Thnx thnx!

Hi halos magkasing timeline lng tayo March 6 applicant ung husband ko still application received prin sya sa ecas and we emailed CEM too sabi nila in progress daw ung application nya. Nanigurado lng kmi na natanggap na tlga nila ung passport and other additional docs. Update2 lng dn tayo ha thank u! Malapit na natin cla makasama yehey!

Hi! ayan may kasabay na ko May 25 nareceive ng cic yung app namen,then June 27 nakareceive yung hubby ko ng email AOR (Acknowlegement of Receipt) ikaw ba yung sponsor or applicant? here are some of the terminologies galing sa isang member when i asked the same question before

cem= Canadian Embassy Manila
dm= decision made
vo= visa officer/ visa office
ip= in process
ppr= passport request
sa= sponsor approval
aor= acknowledgement of receipt <---------they basically send you an email stating when they received your application and give you an application number and UCI number.
cic= citizenship and immigration Canada
poe= port of entry
mp= minister of Parliament
uci= unique client identifier
ecas= Electronic Client Application Status <--------when you receive an application number or uci number, you can check your application progress online.
CoPR= confirmation of permanent residence <------ Needed to enter Canada....applicants from visa exempt counties receive CoPR, applicants from visa required countries receive CoPR and a visa stamped on their passports

Hi guys based on my experience pero baka it might be different from you guys hndi ako nakatanggap ng AOR2 sa CEM nag PPR or passport request right away ung email nila sa amin ng husband ko both kmi inemail ng CEM. at binilang ko ung days mga 35 days approximately from SA email ng CIC to passport request email ng CEM. hope that gives you a hint pero like I said It could be different from one application to another. Good luck! pray lng tayo and more patience.

Hi. I hope you don't !mind me asking, is your spouse a Canadian citizen by birth? Or Filipino naturalized Canadian?

Just noticed you didn't get PPR about a !month after file transfer unlike the others... Trying to understand if there's some trend or pattern in CEM's approach.


Sa other members po sana OK lang po pa-ask same question. Is your sponsor Filipino naturalized Canadian? I noticed ambilis po ng processing ng mga Fil spouse. I may be wrong... But wouldn't hurt to ask and see.

hello, don't worry, yung iba after 2 mos nakakareceive ng email aor then after a few days lang SA naman.. don't worry pray lang tayo yes sabay na yung upfront medical..

yeah.. let's update each other.. actually everytime na nakakabasa ako ng timeline that only takes 4-5 months lang napprocess i get butterflies in my stomach hoping na sana ganon din kabilis saken.. did you pass your upfront medical too?

Parang mas matagal investigation pag Canadian ung asawa, im from manila pero ive been working here in canada since 2011 kaya ang visa office namin is Ottawa and married to canadian we applied in December 2014, approved Sa march 2015, since then never heard anything, but its only 7 months not too bad, meron iba dito years na ung hintay nila wala pa din result.

But I think applying inland mas matagal talaga. I was wondering if for outland app na hindi Fil spouse talaga mas matagal. Sigh
