Sept. Applicant here.. Still waiting.. I have noticed too that 2015 applicants are getting their visas faster than the ones who submitted their application in 2014. My husband had his upfront medical done in feb. and our ecas says that they only received his result last May 22,2015. So as to say that it took them 3 months just to receive medical results? It is really frustrating when it is already a year i haven't seen my husband..

anyone here who submitted their app directly to CEM rather than mailing it to Mississauga? just so i can set my expectations that our application wouldnt be as fast as those who got their VOH within 4 months.. :'( ???

Hi.. I dont think applications are sent directly to CEM. All applications (stage 1) are are sent to Missisauga. As for our case, we have an immigration consultant kaya cguro naging straightforward application namin and of course loaded with lots of prayers and novena. I know the agony of waiting is so bitter. Have faith and keep praying. Prayers do move mountains!

thank you for clarifying that healer.. I was just shocked when i read about the prev post that it's possible to mail directly to CEM instead of mailing it to CIC Mississauga. THat was really good to know.

Hi, is it normal na application received pa rin ang status until now pero nagPPR and asked for payment of residence fee na ang CEM last may 28? Docs were sent last june 1. My husband emailed CEM for any updates last monday and they replied today stating that it is still in process? Anyways, im a march 2, 2015 applicant. Thnx thnx!

Hi ... nag immigration consultant po Kami kasi we don't know how to process our application and it did help a lot. They reviewed and see to it that our application were complete pagsubmit sa Missisauga. So far naman wala na hiningi na other docs ang cem except sa passport and appendix a. It took 4 months and 28 days Lang ang processing ng application namin. Jan. Applicant and voh last June 17. I dunno po sa iba na Hindi nag immigration consultant baka meron na mabilis rin ang process.... Thanks

I do have a consultant handling our papers but seems like same thing din with those who na Hindi nag hire ng consultant. The only thing is sya na Lahat nag organize and assisting all the way frm day1 gathering all reqts up to now.
Feb applicant here but no PPr yet.

Isa sa requirements para sa sponsored applicants ay ang TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND PASSPORTS under Family Sponsorship. Ipinadala niyo ba yugn original passports to Canada so your Sponsor can send them with the rest of the forms and documents?

You just need to have a clear photocopy of the front page of your passport. And send that along with the documents and forms to your sponsor. That's what we did. So far, di naman bumalik application namin.

I also dont think hiring a consultancy or agency would affect the processing times. Yung assurance lang na maayos and complete ang documents na ipapadala mo. Pero kung confident ka nman, no need talaga. Dito lang din ako sa forums nagbase ng pagorganize ng application namin. And so far, di naman bumalik.There are a lot here na nagland na sa Canada na hindi naman nag agency...

Hi again everyone!
Just got an email from Manila V.O for PPR, Appendix A and Immigration Photo Request. Thank God!
Last week Lang before I saw this forum, my husband and I were so worried about our application coz we thought there was something wrong about it. Very happy to see this forum, it's a big help for us! Thanking everyone especially those persons we don't even know yet they are so willing to help and give information and advice. God Bless Us All!!! In God's perfect time we're gonna be with our better half very soon! Best Luck everyone!!!

--PS: Any one knows how many immigration photos do I need to submit for my visa application? I'm so confused coz there's no specific number of photos in the Appendix B (Photo Specification) the Manila V.O emailed me.
