Hi puzza, we both have the same request in Manila V.O but ang sa akin nung June 4 lang. Anyways sinabi lang nang consultant (kasi naghire kami) sa akin is 2 immigration photos at pinalagay sa isang maliit na envelope yung 2photos. Pinalagyan din yung small envelope nang name and birthdate ko. I hope it helps po.

You just need to have a clear photocopy of the front page of your passport. And send that along with the documents and forms to your sponsor. That's what we did. So far, di naman bumalik application namin.

I also dont think hiring a consultancy or agency would affect the processing times. Yung assurance lang na maayos and complete ang documents na ipapadala mo. Pero kung confident ka nman, no need talaga. Dito lang din ako sa forums nagbase ng pagorganize ng application namin. And so far, di naman bumalik.There are a lot here na nagland na sa Canada na hindi naman nag agency...

Thank you! And I agree na hindi nakakaapekto sa processing times ang pag hire ng agency. Pero puwede itong mag pabilis ng whole processing in a way na may magaasikaso ng mga forms para sa applicant. Kasi na kailangan ng applicant na basahin ang guides. Pero sa konting tyaga hindi na kelangan ang agency.. Noon first time kami nag apply under LC program, nag agency kami. Nag regret kami sana hindi na lang nag agency. May thrill din malaman kung paano mag process ng sarili mo.

Any december applicants there na in process padin status?

Last June 9 we received email stating we need to attend COA pre departure seminar. Nkapag attend na c hubby kaso ecas in process pa din. We tried to email CEM and ang sagot lang your application is still in process. :

During the pre departure seminar ang sabi nung Canadian who gave the seminar okay na daw ung papers and application pag pinag seminar ka. However, in process padin c ecas... ;(

So sad lang kasi it was May 6 when they started processing the application... no dm until now... nkakainggit ung iba 4 days lng dm na kagad. Kami 2 mos na.

Just got an email from Manila V.O for PPR, Appendix A and Immigration Photo Request. Thank God!
Last week Lang before I saw this forum, my husband and I were so worried about our application coz we thought there was something wrong about it. Very happy to see this forum, it's a big help for us! Thanking everyone especially those persons we don't even know yet they are so willing to help and give information and advice. God Bless Us All!!! In God's perfect time we're gonna be with our better half very soon! Best Luck everyone!!!

--PS: Any one knows how many immigration photos do I need to submit for my visa application? I'm so confused coz there's no specific number of photos in the Appendix B (Photo Specification) the Manila V.O emailed me.

I don't know if it is fine po sa inyo, can you share the content of the letter? I got mine also, but worried ako na may kulang pa na hinahanap nila requirments, at medyo complicated yung status ko regarding my kid sa 1st marriage.

The letter I received quoted as:
This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. Your application is being processed in
Manila. You should contact our office in Manila should you need to provide updates for any of your
information.
Your visa(s) for permanent residence to Canada is/are ready to be issued, conditional to a final
admissibility review by an immigration officer.
Your visa(s) will be valid for your initial entry to Canada until (mm/dd/yy).

Worried ako dun sa naka bold underline statement. So gusto ko lang po malaman if this is standard, or am I really missing requirements na baka madeny pa din application ko.

Sis ganiyan ding ung request sakin, na-confused din nga Ako kaxe sa email ang nakalagay Lang na important documents na need i-pass Appendix A and Passport...Pero nun inopen ko un attachment kasama un appendix B which is photo specification nga...taz kasama nman sa application na pinadala ko sa asawa ko nun magpapasa pa Lang kami eh 9recent photos...so kahit confused, nagpadala na Lang din Ako ng another photos...binabalik nman Nila together with the visa approval ung sobrang photos.. hello, don't worry, yung iba after 2 mos nakakareceive ng email aor then after a few days lang SA naman.. don't worry pray lang tayo yes sabay na yung upfront medical..

Hi MrsB, my timeline is under my name po. my hubby is not yet voh, nag PPR npo xa but wlang stated n validity ng visa. So i guess bka start plng pro hopefully mabilis n sana..

About sayo sis, wait k lng bka un ppr request syo is my validity n ng visa n nkalagay.

Hi, is it normal na application received pa rin ang status until now pero nagPPR and asked for payment of residence fee na ang CEM last may 28? Docs were sent last june 1. My husband emailed CEM for any updates last monday and they replied today stating that it is still in process? Anyways, im a march 2, 2015 applicant. Thnx thnx!

Hi halos magkasing timeline lng tayo March 6 applicant ung husband ko still application received prin sya sa ecas and we emailed CEM too sabi nila in progress daw ung application nya. Nanigurado lng kmi na natanggap na tlga nila ung passport and other additional docs. Update2 lng dn tayo ha thank u! Malapit na natin cla makasama yehey!

Hi! ayan may kasabay na ko May 25 nareceive ng cic yung app namen,then June 27 nakareceive yung hubby ko ng email AOR (Acknowlegement of Receipt) ikaw ba yung sponsor or applicant? here are some of the terminologies galing sa isang member when i asked the same question before

dm= decision made
vo= visa officer/ visa office
ip= in process
ppr= passport request
sa= sponsor approval
aor= acknowledgement of receipt <---------they basically send you an email stating when they received your application and give you an application number and UCI number.
cic= citizenship and immigration Canada
poe= port of entry
mp= minister of Parliament
uci= unique client identifier
ecas= Electronic Client Application Status <--------when you receive an application number or uci number, you can check your application progress online.
CoPR= confirmation of permanent residence <------ Needed to enter Canada....applicants from visa exempt counties receive CoPR, applicants from visa required countries receive CoPR and a visa stamped on their passports

Hi guys based on my experience pero baka it might be different from you guys hndi ako nakatanggap ng AOR2 sa CEM nag PPR or passport request right away ung email nila sa amin ng husband ko both kmi inemail ng CEM. at binilang ko ung days mga 35 days approximately from SA email ng CIC to passport request email ng CEM. hope that gives you a hint pero like I said It could be different from one application to another.
