If that is true, have you ever seen someone after got dm and waited 7 months before getting visa? Plus mentioning it,is like our medical and some documents won't expire before oct comes? That makes no sense at all.

Does anyone here ever did a follow up about their application? Does it make your application fast or slow?

Any September 2014 applicants here whose Ecas changed to DM? Mine still application received..PPR received by CEM March 9, 2015

May 2014 applicant here.

April 13 - CEM called requesting to go to CEM on April 16 for visa stamping. Told me to bring my passport (since I didnt get any PPR thru mail/email).
April 16 - Brought my passport to CEM then got it back by the end of the day with visa attached. (Visa valid til May 29, 2015; same time as meds expiry.)
April 18 - ECAS changed to DM. ;D ;D

Question;
Which seminar do I need to attend? Is there anything else I need to do? Thank you. :D

Hi question,
i have submitted my husband's application and I noticed that I answered one question incorrectly.
Question was have you resided in other countries other than Canada, and I incorrectly answered no,should have been yes. They have already received my application and could no longer rectify the mistake. Will it result to refusal?

Hi. We'll submit our application next week. Ask ko lang po alin ang document checklist na dapat sundin?

Yung IMM 5443 po ba? Or yung 3905E na specific for Philippines?

Hi,
Your wife can certAinly apply for medical exam even before sponsorship application... Upfront medical is allowed and encouraged for spouse applications. However, I suggest you complete all other requirements first prior to medical exam since the latter can be the most expensive. NBI clearance has to be put last too since you have to submit it 3 months after the date of issue.

First of all, you have to have an nso copy of your marriage cert, which will still take months after your wedding to be released. The rest of the "other" requirements are listed in the cic website so make sure you complete them first :-)

Hello
Did you submitted your sponsorship application for your wife? I just got married last March and I'm going to sponsor my husband. How long did you wait before you can request an NSO marriage certificate?

Thanks much

congratulations! ;D

sa pagkakaalam ko GCP for citizen sponsor, PDOS for pr sponsor.

Hello guys
Just wanna ask some info pertaining to spousal sponsorship. I just got married last March 2015, and I'm going to sponsor my husband in the Philippines. Need your ideas to this following questions:

1.) Do I have to inform any government agency here in Canada like CIC for my PR card to change my last name to married name/my husbands last name?

2.) Notice of Assesment is one of the requirement for a sponsor to submit. How much is the income bracket of a sponsor for me to qualify to sponsor my husband?

thank you for sharing your ideas.

Hi there :) As I know once you were DM on your ECAS, you wait for 2 weeks visa delivery by DHL or LBC and sometimes the CEM phone the applicant if they would like to pick up their passport with visa at the embassy! ;D

Normally it will be scanned automatically after 5-6 months by the NSO and you can get a copy from them after that delay. If you wanted to have it done in less time (3 weeks to a month) you had to request (maybe still possible) an advanced endorsement from the City Hall or office that managed your license. It costs a few pesos (500 if I remember well).

In my case, I went to NSO after a month and it was in the system. I asked for copies and it took 3 open days to get them.
