yes..so many....good news...your hubby doesnt need to have the pain of waiting for mr.dhl....agentorange said:Hubby received a call from CEM today. He's asked to go to cem on thurs for his visa. They also asked if he can leave before May 29 (expiration of meds and validity of visa). Ecas still says in process. No email/ mail for ppr. they said to go in the morning so he can have his visa attached to his passport by the end of the day. Anyone had this before?

congrats agentorange
# just few realization I learned today, CEM prioritized those with medicals near to expire, and they doesnt matter if your application was received or processed first.
# medicals validity is equal or the same of visa validity
# the early the medicals u had, the more priority
I received the same call from CEM today but of course it was very early in the morning here, They wanted to know how to get in touch with my wife since she is visiting her family in the Philippines. Gave the VO her number and my wife txt me after. She has an appointment this Thursday for CEM to have her Visa package issued.agentorange said:Hubby received a call from CEM today. They are pertaining to just yourself and any children you may have in your case if any.rowanrowan said:it is stated that I include 9 recent photos of each of my family members (accompanying and non accompanying). Are they pertaining to my parents and siblings even though they are not being sponsored?
Salamat!
Your welcome but can you do us a favor from now on? When your posting a question can you please only post the one question in one place. Congratulations on your wedding! Do you plan to apply as an Outland or Inland? If you don't have any idea yet.. you can check the link below:

And then to answer your questions, Yes providing all the possible documents that the embassy may require in the future can make the processing more shorter. The link below will help you on preparing all your documents:
canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/how-i-organized-our-applcation-and-a-summary-of-all-helpful-tips-i-have-learned-t92449.0.htm
As long as the hospital is under the accredited panel physician.. you can take your medical their. Yes, one of it is St. Lukes!
cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.as
You'll only provide a copy of your passport on the initial application then once it has begun processing that's the only time they'll require you to send the passport itself. They will only request for the applicant's passport and not the sponsor's pp.
Hope that helps!

in the bright side, you can lower your expectations now.... your file probably will go through
the summer... and as they said... your file may be completed by October...
But they are mean when they suggest that you are good to March 24 2016...
In any case, I don't expect your file to go that far... most likely that by the end of the summer.
It looks like every visa office calculate the waiting period in different way,
but it should be since CIC receives your application
How are processing times calculated?
"Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) calculates processing times from the day CIC receives an application to the day it makes a decision on the application."
