Ponga is correct. The AOR UCI # is the sponsor UCI. The principal applicant is issued a separate UCI #. But it is still better than nothing. I know a lot of people who wait until they are asked for the documents.

I'm just nervous the fingerprints will expire before that happens!

Hi.
Just a quick question:
In IMM3902 it says:
'7 IDENTITY AND CIVIL STATUS DOCUMENTS
Provide the following:
• national identity cards,
• birth certificates,
• baptismal certificates or,
• other official document confirming relationship for you and each of your family members.'

I am applying for Spousal Sponsorship (my wife is Canadian), no kids. Do I have to include my Baptismal certificate? And what 'Other official document confirming relationship for you and each of your family members.' does it talk about?

Additional Family Information - should I include my Canadian wife in it (she is my Sponsor), as my spouse or should I put N/A?

Thank you in advance.

FBI checks are valid for 3 months correct? Please refresh my memory I applied 7.5 months ago.

If I was in your shoes I would take the chance and mail it to Mississauga with my sponsor's UCI # and as much identifying information as possible. However, I would order a new FBI check knowing that I very well may need another one if 1. I don't get SA before it expires or 2. It gets lost.

I am under the impression it is 3 months, we just received it on March 13th so just over a month ago and received AOR on Saturday. I'm most nervous for it to get lost.

It will expire 90 days after the date on the actual FBI letter, NOT the day you received it.

CIC was accepting Channeler letters, on behalf of the FBI, but only from mid January thru early March. A Channeller can get the same exact letter, but in a matter of a couple of weeks, versus ~ 4 months from the FBI directly.

Hopefully CIC will open up that door again soon!

Yes, we included a channler in our application and after we sent it realized it was no longer accepted and received our fbi letter the very next day! Lol

this might have been asked several times but I hope someone will answer my question.
If there is no minimum financial requirement for spousal sponsorship, do I still need to submit option C and proof of employment? I'm in a process of gathering documents for my husband's sponsorship. Thanks in advance :)

Yes, if you have worked in Canada and can obtain that document from CRA.

If you have not worked in Canada, you simply need to show CIC how you will support yourself and your husband, until he is working.

thanks so much, I already had my option C. But I might not be able to provide proof of employment right away because I just started working.

Reposting For some information

Hello Everyone - We recently were requested for re-medical on 9th April, this is the only correspondence we got from our VO since our SA in June 2014. We have handed in the medical last week - anyone can give us a time frame, when we can expect to hear from our VO in Abu Dhabi for PPR ?

I am sorry, I don't want to spam but does anyone know the answers?
I want to send my application today and that is the last thing I have to know before sending it. I'll be very thankful for your help.

They are talking about the relationship between you and any of your dependents included in the app. No one else is included, so that section doesn't apply to you.

Yes, you must include your wife on the Additional Family form.

Thanks for your help!

Q17: We are wondering if my wife applies to get an Option C. My wife hasn't lived in Canada for 5 years and has made no money in Canada during that period of time. Is an Option C necessary? If not, we could just write a letter describing her situation.
However if she needs it, she will have to apply for it. And because we are living abroad and they can send it to us, but it will take a week, maybe more. We want to send our documents asap. Is there an option to send the application without the option C and send the Option C to Mississauga later?

17 - She doesn't need an Option C. Include a letter why.

I have one more question to the Option C Printout:
We just realized, that even if my wife doesn't live or work in Canada, she still does hes taxes in Canada cause she has a student loan and pays an interest on it. Does she have to include the Option C than?
Thank you.

Yes I think so. Just request the option C anyway, since it's free, and it shows that your wife is not on social welfare.

There is no minimum Required Income to Sponsor a Spouse but you should not be on Social Assistant or Welfare and not be a Bankrupt.
Despite there is no Minimum Income required but you need Option C as Proof of Income. And Provide Notice Of Assessment for Income Tax from CRA.
Proof of Employment is not Required if you Provide Option C as it already include Name of Employer or Institution for Your Income.
