Oh god... Getting stressed and I don't even have an ita yet. Been hovering at the POF cutoff +/-£100 for the last few months. Need to pump an extra £1000 in there to be super safe ready for the £1 to plummet next year.... That'll be less than 6 months of average balance, maybe... I'm over thinking, aren't I?

There should be a balance as well you just cant pull every fish from the pool of water. Thats why intl students were given only 15-30 points to get the most deserving ones and who are waiting since ages to get in.

They could have easily given them 100-200 bonus points. Intl students were disappointed with 15-30 points they termed these changes as nothing and they wanted those 100-200 bonus points. But that would have been unfair to most in the pool who might be more deserving than some Intl students but would never get in.

You act like all int'l students were disappointed with the changes. Only shitty CEC applicants with low human capital factor asked for 100-200 points because that's just absurd. You and some others keep saying there are more "deserving people than CEC", but I still don't know who they are? how do you define a candidate is "deserving" ? are they the ones that spent thousands of dollar to get here, then immediately went back to their home countries because they couldn't find an office job?

I guess you can lament all you want, but in the eyes of IRCC, only people who have studied and spent time and money here to contribute to the Canadian economy are the "deserving" ones. The rest? you can wait in your country until your turn is up.
