I started driving around 8:30 or so. Reached US at 10 and back at around 10:30. There were very few people ahead of me. I was probably done before 11. Then I got some food and got home around 1 AM.
That's strange, I did my landing at Peace bridge no problem. I was probably there at around 10:30-11:00 PM, there were about 6-7 other people. Got processed in ~10 minutes and left.
If I drive to the USA and back (not flagpole), would I still have to do it Tuesday-Thursday for them to process my COPR or does that only apply to people flagpoling?
Speaking of landing, is it easier to visit another country and then come back (not flagpole)? I have a US visa and I also could just visit my home country for the heck of it if it means that I won't have to wait 8 hours on a weekday at the border.
Sorry for the triple message but I had a small question, on the IRCC website, there's an expiry date on the "document" of 2018 February. What is that the expiry date of exactly?
Today is my 9th day so I guess I'll give them a call tomorrow. It's just odd how everyone whose passports were delivered before June 15 got their applications approved in about a week but June 15 and after it's limbo.
