Hi Nectar,

The problem is that 'Medicals received' is not on my ecas any more. It was there for a while but then it disappeared again for some magical reason.

hai everybody
hai edupolo , this has happened to me also ,dont panic ,initally i can view my medicals have been received , but last couple of weeks before the line had vanished ,we can assure that the e cas in canadian immigration is total failure and does not reflect our files , be cool we all will get our PPR

ramuk

Thanks Ramuk, at least I know that it has nothing to do with my case, but that it may be yet another glitch in their system. Tomorrow will be a week since I sent my email to Ottawa and still have not heard from them (is that good news?). I always seem to think that no immediate response means they are actually looking into it, still hopeful as you can see?

Edupolo... u have an Optimistic approach and u will go a long way buddy.
God bless u n soon am sure u will come out with flyin colors :)

I try Deeaar, I try. Not an easy task to stay positive. At least, I keep thinking that my day-to-day life is good, so it is not like I need to run away from it.

I can't wait to let you all know about their response to my email... it will probably be humourous.

ahhh, the last email we got from CPPO... :( Now we're back to waiting for the post every day. Back to singing "Mailman bring me no more blues" ...
Hopefully yours will turn out better!

Hi

Thanks for your comments and I feel your frustration on your disappearing medicals received line... they seem to be very inconsistent.

My question is how long was it between your medicals being sent did you see medicals received on your ecas? Our medicals were sent on the 8th Feb and we are still waiting for our ecas to be updated!

We haven't had any other updates at all.

Just wondering whether the majority of you saw updates after 1, 2, 3 or more months since your medicals being sent... Just so I know how long to leave it before I start poking Ottawa for more information.

Much appreciated,

Camerwell,
If I remember correctly my 'Medicals have been received' line appeared about 5 months after I did my medicals. The reason for that? who knows?
Today is a week since my email and still waiting... however, I have a big email prepared for London if I receive a standard email from Ottawa. I thought that since my case was transferred there involuntarily, they should be made aware that I am not happy with the way they deal with people. But I need to wait until they reply to me because with my luck I am sure that I write to London and then I get the most comprehensive email back from Ottawa :D

Hi edupolo & M+JM,

You guys have waited loooooong enough since 2007 I guess!.. So just be patient, it is a matter of few more weeks.. You are way more than half way through.. thats the good part about it I guess :D

M+JM and edupolo, i really hope for you guys to be done sooner, you have waited long enough now. MJM, quality assurance doesn't necessarily means an interview, it could just be random quality assessment. Even if they call you for interview for QA, they'll ask abt how did you find the system and services and you know what to say to that anyway :P Wish you guys a very good luck.

Quality Assurance Letter (QAL) is just for audit purposes.

The interview letter must tell about application processing 'Hindrance' which cause delay in processings.

Thanks Ahmad and Nectar!
"Hindrance"? Nectar can you please elaborate on this? We haven't got a letter yet, CPPO only told us that we had been transfered back to London for QA, but no idea if this implies an interview or not... and no idea of the timeline of course... hopefully everything will be sorted out before our meds expire (September)

Thanks for the encouragement everyone...it's needed :P

M+JM, I think it is going to be sad when it is just one of us left for PPR (unless we both get it at the same time).
One week and still no answer, since they just closed there for the day. If tomorrow at 22:00 we have not heard from Ottawa, we will re-send, and then email London.
From tomorrow, I only have 3.5 months for my medicals to expire! Fingers crossed that April is our month!

Thanks Edupolo. Well I hope you get a comprehensive email back with all the answers your looking for very soon.

I'll have to take a chill pill and keep waiting patiently like I have been since Sept 2007!

I don't think there enough chill pills in the world for this experience we all have been going through ;D
