Worldwide CIC have somewhere around 144,000 FSW visas from Feb2008-June2010 which are still awaiting a decision, from the 400,000+ applications they received during this period.MSMirza said:Yep! so lets say 50% of the remaining visas for Pre Feb 2008 and 50% for Post Feb 2008, and theres a long cue so they're right about saying that it might take another 2 years for applications to be finalized. To Finalize cases quickly, they need to Increase their Visa Quotas, at least till the backlog finishes.
CHC London is a big office so I would estimate around 20% of these are for London, so looking at approximately 30,000 Feb2008-June2010 applications at CHC London still awaiting a decision.
So if we say 15,000 visas are available after the relatively small number of post-June-2010 visas are process - and although we do not know the split, let's say 50/50 before post-Feb-2008 and pre-Feb-2008 - this would mean approximately 7,500 visas this year for Feb2008-June2010 out of the 30,000 which remain.
Next year they may be able to start earlier and increase this figure. So whereas at least some applicants will have to wait 2 years, at least 25% of the Feb2008-June2010 applicants at CHC LOndon will get their visas this year.
The above is of course based on some guesswork, including the split between post and pre-Feb-2008 and % of worldwide applications which CHC London deals with.
