I would love to see froum members PPRs coming through. At work now, will tell you more once I get back.

Party time Ahmad! Congratulations man. 8)

Good luck for your life in Canada

Edupolo, my e-cas also shows only 2 lines,
We received application ... Sept. 2007
We started processing .... Sept. 2007.
And no Medicals Received.
Status " In Process".

Hi Lina-Ida,

Thanks for your response. Did you e-cas ever showed Medicals Received? mine did and now it does not.
I am pretty sure it is a glitch in the system by reading the others' comments, but it is quite annoying that they cannot get that right either.

It should not be that difficult especially based on the little amount of information that they show to start with.

I may pop an email to them to ask, or should I wait to see what response M+JM gets?

Hi, Edupolo,
my e-cas never showed "Medicals Received",
and during 2 last months e-cas was blanc,
about 2-3 weeks ago e-cas reappeared and last change was done 1 day before -
my postal address now can be seen.
My Documents Update was asked by London Office in February, 2010, Documents were send in June 2010,
but officially I was informed about my case shifting to PCC-Ottawa in June 2010.
Most probably they will process firsthand cases, transferred to Ottawa in February-March 2010.
Only later turn for cases like mine will come, I guess.

Dear ahmad
congrats for your visa , wishing you all the best for your bright future in canada.

Best Wishes to you and your family Ahmad!!

Edupolo, to summarize e-cas happenings -
March 5 - "Medicals Received" line disappeared (as did Ahaboubi's)
Mar 7 - Ahaboubi's "Medical Received" line reappears and Mar 17 he gets his PPR
Mar 9 - my mailing address disappears - note that "Medical Received" line is still missing
Mar 22 - my mailing address is back ; as also for Lina Ida. "Medical Received" line is still missing, as it is for you !!

Possibly all this is bcos of their moving from CAIPS to GCMS, or there is some other hidden meaning...Somehow, I feel that soon all of will receive our PPRs. Peace.

Hi Oman,

I really hope you are right. The whole thing is a mess anyway... this Canadian immigration is a bit like Alice in Wonderland, anything is possible and nothing makes sense.

Hi All,

I am glaaad that I found so many people with similar case of mine.. I though I am the only one in the world ::)!!

I tried to go through few of the previous posts in this thread to catch up, and unfortunately I discovered that I know nothing about the details of this process. That's because my case is handled by Certified Canadian Immigration Consultant (CCIC) who has been doing everything on my behalf ! but since this has been taking more that I was told it should take, I started to get worried...

Here is summary of my case:
• Application for Permanent Residence submitted on Sept. 2007
• Letter received back from Canadian High Commission (CHC) on Oct 18th 2007 with my File ID.
• At the bottom of the same letter there was this comment: Acknowledgment of receipt (20/04/2007). ((HOW COME if the application was only submitted on Sept 2007)) :o
• On March 2010 I was asked to submit all my documents to CPP-O instead of CHC.
• All documents were submitted by July 2010.

After that I was told by the Certified Canadian Immigration Consultant (CCIC) that I should receive my medical within 4 to 6 months. This month I have completed 8 months and I haven't heard back from CPP-O !!

Any feedback from your experience guys or any advice ??

Thanks :)

Welcome here OsamaR, and msaleem216 (not sure about your situation though, are you CPPO too?)

Ahh, consultants... There's a few people here in the same kind of situation. I think most people would say consultants just delay the whole process even more... But surely if you send your docs in July, you should have done your meds by now? Background checks, additional documents?

Update, 21:22 GMT
CPPO must have closed for the weeked by now.

1 No new PPR this week. Nothing. Is the 2 week pattern more than a wild theory of mine???
2 No reply to our email from yesterday...

oh well, at least we can enjoy the weekend ::)
