Lucky u that ur right there to collect it before time . Let see when i am gonna recv my PPs by courier...the wait is gettin tougher for us now .

Cheers Deeaar, thanks guys for your wishes, I surely am lucky to be living close to embassy. I was about to go last Thursday to check if it's ready as couple of applicants when they checked after a week, visas were ready. I couldn't do that as cricket was on, luckily Pakistan is playing tomorrow and not Thursday :

yes, let us know about your experience on Thursday. One day I will also be walking there to hand in my passport... so frustrating to be living pretty much around the corner from them but not being able to do anything about it hehe.

Today my mailing address has been reinstated - after it disappeared on Mar 9th. Cheers !

My e-cas also changed today , mailing address was reinstated, still status is " In process".

What do you mean by "email was reinstated"..? Where does your email address appear?

Oh, when I wrote "mailing address was reinstated", I meant not electronic address, but postal mailing address.
So, recently my 42 months (after first AOR was issued) were fullfilled and 43-d month had started.
Also 6 months period of time (afer Medicals submission) also had finished.
And I did send e-mail attachment with my daughter's passport copy to Ottawa by e-mail, but only 2 days before.
Now I think, that may be they will send RPRF and PPRs in June (it will be exactly 45-th month).
Anyhow I am daily following this thread, it is very helpfull to read your news and valuable advices.

Hello,
I checked my e-cas status today and I was shocked!
2 weeks ago when I checked, there was an extra line that said:

Medicals have been received

However, today I cannot see that anymore and the only thing that I see is:

Your case started processing on -- September 2007

Anyone with the same issue, or why the medical line may have been removed?

I've had the same thing about two weeks before getting the request for passports. Actually I got this line back a few days befor getting the PPR. Maybe it's a good sign.

Any way, it's certainly nothing to worry about. A lot of people have been getting weird stuff on their status (like disappearing and then reappearing addresses).

Hi All,

Just wanted to give you an update on my case. Even tho they first said they've started processing my application on Oct2007, then my eCAS now says the following:

We received your application for permanent residence on September 11, 2007.
We started processing your application on January 28, 2011.
Medical results have been received. (done my medicals and London office received in 16Feb11)

I submitted the police certificate and a pendning document in Oct2010, I've emailed them a couple of times and my last email was last week, asking them if they have actually received my medical (it took them 2 days to reply), they did... YAY, I also asked how long it will take from now to get any feedback from them, i got a one line reply that an officer will let me know whats the next step.

Goodness, how much longer do we have to wait, its taken so long that im not sure if i want to go anymore...

submitted on: July2010 (in the nick of time)
medicals: 16Feb.

Guys, Ecas isn't reliable now a days especially when they are flicking their systems around with CAIPS and GCMS, this is causing some problems for Ecas.

In my case, medical and address bit never disappeared so it could be something good or it could be just a system glitch.

Fingers crossed for you guys, my wife is already by the London high commission now waiting for them to open the doors at 14.00 hrs.................. :

We've "accidently" emailed CPPO last night... We were just polishing a draft email...11 weeks since we got told we were "ready for visa" etc etc... we wanted to send it in a couple of weeks if nothing happened... and then instead of saving as a draft I pressed SEND ;D ;D ;D Talk about subconscious actions!

edupolo we were thinking about you...seriously would'nt wait till end April to find out where on earth your meds are...
