yes they are speeding up and it seems they are done with Inland CEC and gone back to date wise. January applicants may expect getting AOR by June end.

All those applicants in January whose IELTS is expiring in 10 -12 months from now may think of giving another test and get ready to update new results.

Once Ontario starts issuing AOR regularly which i am assuming from now on wards, the over all timelines would shorten as they would speed-en up. last couple of months they have been at their slowest best, thats coz of few reasons.
1. They had a tech glitch with their site from sept - Nov'15 which let to certian back log then they issued lots of PT's during Nov end and Dec beginning.
2. They received lots of applications during mid dec till Mid jan and during this time they have low on manpower as its holiday time due to xmas and new years from 20 - 5th Jan.
3. Lots of backlog accumulated over 3 months which they are currently struggling to process leading to huge timelines

lets hope things improve in the next couple of weeks

my IELTS expire in December this year ..

NOT the PR. you have to maintain our score above 400 for OINP till you get nominated. After ITA its okay.

IF you get AOR in July ( which is not likely because they might complete Dec applicants for AOR till June end and january has maximum applicants) you cant get nomination till December at today's speed. so its your decision now.

Those three applicants are CEC Inland with expiring work permits.

FSW Outland applicants should start expecting AOR's from July first week or by end of June (if they speed up the process) which is highly unlikely after monitoring the December thread. I am afraid by then most of us (1800 in total) will have DD expiry problem but at the same time OINP is playing very smartly; They are getting DD's encashed months before but somehow our banks aren't able to tell us clearly if DD has been encashed or not yet. Poor us. Lets hope for the best.

@prashant , for how many applicants is true that they are enchasing DD in advance do we have a subset of about 50-100 applications? afaik many Dec end and jan start candidates didnt have their DD encashed.

All speculations related to OINP even by the senior most member is not accurate about the processing times of AOR.

These days due to so called backlog OINP is not able to keep their timeline commitments so no one can speculate and we all are projecting on the basis of current statistics by the help of forum members.

I don't know who those "many applicants" are. I called up the bank who issued my DD and they took days to get in touch with their Toronto branch and confirmed that my DD is not en-cashed. So, I'm only left with the option to wait until 11th of July, when my DD expires.

What does mean by oinp decision, can I assume this as nomination.
I actually spoke to one of the Helpdesk person on Friday, and I told about my current wp expiry in sept. He asked my details and took few minutes and told me that it will take two months to make a decision on my case. I have not received my Aor yet, I believe AOr it self qualifies the decision right? Confused and he mentioned me that I can expect AOR in 2 weeks, however decision takes two months. Not sure what should I understand from this? I can not rely on oinp and running out of time.... :-\

My understanding is a decision is finalising of the case: either nomination or rejection

i dont know if this was asked before, but what about our Express Entry profiles?

mine expire in November and i am a Jan applicant (docs received on jan 8). and till now no AOR, and i feel nomination will take long time also.

so what happens if profile expire and still no nomination ?
