In that case you have to create new Express Entry profile and have to ask OINP officials to link your nomination or on-going file to new Express entry profile. You also have to provide Letter of Explanation that why you have created new EE profile, which is expiration.

I am Feb 1st applicant, called OINP to comfirm status as my work permit expires this sunday and someone over phone asked me to fax ASAP to expedite the application, the fax number he gave me is not listed on OINP website though, when I told him I have called so many times no one told me this before, he said you are talking to the officer today. Is it possible he gave me officer's fax number ? He didn't asked my name or anything ?

Please help

Since you were able to legitimately get to him through ONIP number,I;ll say you should do what HE asked of you ASAP.

please keep us updated on this. it would be interesting to see how fast he moves upon faxing the document requested (what documents were asked to be sent?)

He asked to send letter saying my wp is expiring and request to expedite the process and asked me to include name , contact details and express entry file number.

I will keep you posted

He told me he can not gurantee because its only a week which I totally understand
