hey guys,

my work permit is expiring on jun 18th. havent got my AOR for OINP. how should i extend my work permit. i heared they wont do if u dont have supporting docs such as nominee copy and AOR from CIC. guys please give me an answer i really need to do something in next week.

January Applicants are really quiet! I had to scroll way down to see an update

Can you add me to the list please...
Express Entry Profile created on December 17th with CRS of 444.
PT notification of interest received the very next day.

OINP application received on 22nd Jan.
Applied under FSW
Awaiting AOR

Since then we've been waiting and waiting much like most of you! I can quite honestly say I've grown older while waiting because my birthday was in March.

Browsing the December forums, it looks like the AORs are beginning to trickle through so hopefully not too much longer to wait. Good luck to all!

IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION: Fraudulent Calls

Some members of the public have received fraudulent calls from an OINP phone number (416-327-0374) requesting payment of funds, and threatening deportation. These calls are not being made by OINP staff. This may be a case of Call ID spoofing which is used by individuals to disguise their phone number to appear as someone else.

OINP never contacts clients by phone to collect funds.

Never give out personal information such as account numbers, social insurance number (SIN), mother's maiden name, passwords or other identifying information in response to unexpected calls.

OINP recommends that if you have concerns about the legitimacy of a call, you should ask for the name of the agent calling, and then email the OINP at ontarionominee@ontario.ca to confirm whether the call was genuine.

Anyone receiving a telephone call from an OINP phone number demanding payment should hang up immediately and contact their local police and notify OINP. You may also report the incident to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre by telephone at 1-888-495-8501 or through their website:

Hi guys, does someone has any news? I reviewed the forum of the Dec applicants and they haven't receive any new AOR. Someone was saying that in the next Canada day, there might be some changes in the immigration law and that can be the reason why they are holding the AOR expenditure, but I don't know anything else.

Oh btw if someone calls you saying that is from immigration and that they require an immediate payment from you, be careful, I read somewhere that some bad guys were committing scams with this.
