Does anyone know how long does it take to receive the oath letter after DM? Also, does the Oath letter arrive in physical mail or email?

Update:
Approximately 3 weeks after passing the citizenship exam for the 2nd time (45 days after completing it for the first time, I was told that my test was not recorded), I received a letter asking for my fingerprints again because the one I took in 2020 had expired.
I had them taken yesterday and now I am waiting for the next steps. Hopefully, there will be no more surprises.

Why wasn't it recorded? Was that an IT issue on their end? This is unbelievable... you should have been granted automatic urgent processing.

Hi guys,

I am Nov 2019 Citizenship Applicant. I finished my test on Mar 24, today I got an email for interview and they asked me to mail them the consent form and Passport pages. When I mailed them, they replied asking for the initials of the officer I have worked with. I was not able to find the information anywhere. Would you guys know if this question is common ? or where I can find the officer Initials ?

Thanks,

So, your 2nd test was recorded and accepted?

Hi . There are other applicants with us. Maybe around 10 to 15 ,maybe more ? I didn't see everybody . We didn't sing O canada but we recited the Oath in English and French afterwards. We were put in a breakroom depending on ur seat number . An official talked to us for registration. Just to confirm identity and was put on hold afterwards . After everyone is done with the registration, we were then transferred with the judge . And after the oath , we were put back in our breakroom where we signed the oath form and cut up the PR cards.
did you have to sign the oath form in paper and show it to the judge? and had to email a pdf scan if it after the ceremony?

My spouse got the invitation for the test today. The test can be taken from 3rd May to 23rd May.

Completed it last night and got 20/20. Now both of us are done. I found this disturbing though - "We’ll contact you with the next steps in the process in the upcoming months."

I just finished my Oath Taking. Finally graduate. Took about 1 hour. Mention that certificate will mail to me in 4 weeks. Wish everyone in this group all the best. :):)

Congratulations! Can you share your timelines? Citizenship application, AOR, exam, interview, oath?
