Hi .My PR card has expired and have already applied for renewal of PR but did not get yet and i have oath ceremony .Do they ask if i apply for PR renewal or put my ceremony hold until i get my new PR ? TIA

I have decision made on ecas for 5 months now, no oath ceremony invitation yet. I requested my gcms notes last week, do you think it could help to get things moving again? Thanks
Dropping an email to the test invite email address can help you get an idea about the oath date.

No they are not. But if you are not getting details about your Oath ceremony sending email to the test email address asking for details helps.
just wanted to say thank you very much for the tip. It worked, got a reply to my email after 10 min!!! they said my ceremony is scheduled for Jan 4th Thanks again
:)

My file was submitted in April 2021. I completed my interview on Nov 14 and later I checked my tracker online, all categories are now showing completed based on the update on Nov 24th. On the ECAS also, it says decision made.
I would like to ask, how long it takes after this to get an invite for the oath ceremony.

Hi, just want to update that my interview on Dec 1 at Scarborough office went very well and I received DM and LPP as completed shortly after. The officer in general said that he has no concerns regarding my application. I showed the doctors' letters during the interview to which the officer responded positively. He took a copy of the letters and said he will put a note on my file requesting for an expedited oath date. But he also clarified that it's not directly up to him to schedule oath dates. So he said hopefully I should receive an oath date within 2 weeks of completing the interview.

Hello Folks,
I had submitted my application for citizenship in Montreal on 18 March 2021, and the current status is Test completed (on September 2021). It’s been more than a year since test completed and I haven’t heard anything on the progress. It seems like the processing of the application in Montreal is slow.

Is anyone in the same situation has tried to contact the immigration office? Is there any email to reach out to check the status?

Appreciate your support.

thanks

It says False to me right now. But same observation as @fkburn, that application submissioncomplete: false.
Yes, all of my documents have documentApproved: true. Some of them have isComplete: true, some isComplete: null but ONE has isComplete: false.
Any interpretation / suggestion?
Thank you

Hello all

I appreciate your help, I am very new to the citizenship application and I faced some questions. I appreciate your advice.

Can I apply online and if so, would you please inform me about the portal that I can apply?

Another question, can I also the time spent as a student here for a max year? Also, in my counting dates, should I consider the date of COPR in my calculation or date of receiving the PR card?

In the application, it says " do you have proof of language"? I do not have as I graduated one degree in Canada, should i respond then no?

Should I upload any forms?

Also, should we upload a photo during the submission of application?

Thanks so much for your advice.

https://citapply-citdemande.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/sign-in - Portal
On the back of your PR card you would have a date 'PR since', use that date.
You can use the transcript as proof of language - https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=573&top=5

Create an account on portal and it will tell you what all is needed.

Hi all

1) For passports, should we only upload the previous passports within 5 years, or even before that should I also be uploaded?

2) Should I also upload all study/work permits?

3) For the question of when you had other citizenship (original country), what should we put as the start and end date?

4) For the question of where you lived in Canada, what should we put as the date of "to"? Will it be the date of submission?

Thank you for your help

Hi folks,

If I needed to clear all part of application on the portal, how can I start over? Can you share your experience? Thanks so much
