Good luck with CAF, I gave it a thought initially when I came to Canada to join but dropped after the birth of my son, it seems the initial few postings are pretty rough and it takes a lot of time to get a posting where families are allowed to stay with you. May I ask how old are you?

Looks like it is going to take a lot more time to process our citizenship applications. Hang in there and don't give up hope.A good news really, when your application start in-process?Hello everyone... Congrats on reaching the twelfth month of processing.
I spoke to an agent about 3 weeks back to ask whether the additional documents I had submitted using the webform had been added to my application. Since the documents weren't requested, I asked her whether there is any other outstanding requests/processes that need to be completed for my application. Apparently, all the processes have been completed. (I asked her specifically about the criminal, security, residence, etc checks were done). I am "test ready". She said that test could start in a few weeks depending on the processing office - either in person and online.
But these agents are known to give unsubstantiated information. I can only hope that this turns out to be true... Fingers crossed.
