hi friends.
ours is divorce case.
my wife's second marriage with me and she is 3 years elder then me. can it delay the process or increase interview chances.and if i get interview, will they ask to bring me my marriage album. we already submitted around 100 pics. we got ppr on 29th april and i submitted passport on 5th. still waiting.i am the applicant.

Hi Everyone!

My husband finally received a letter from CIC regarding his part of the application. They have requested for his original passport, police clearance, and payment of fees. I'm assuming the request for passport is a good thing? The application is moving along?
Also, I have receipts that I paid to the CIC in Mississauga, Canada. But I'm not sure for what they are...is there a way to find out?

ANY October applicants got there visa????

My passport was sent in March 11 2013. ;D

I got a letter indicating they need my divorce petition and time period we stayed after marriage last last week. We send it though fed ex and they received it last Tuesday. ??? ???

I think it could make the process little bit longer..
And just to add, there's other member on the forum whose sponsor is divorced. and now they have asked for something called a divorce petition. so if u have not submitted that, get it ready or better send it right away to reduce some time in ur case....

Hi Harshiddhi005 - NO travel History

Reeyan : What is divorce petition ? When you requested this thorugh court, did it say Divorce Petition on top ?
I think it is called statement of divorce in Alberta.

In our case sponsor is divorced and we sent divorce judgement and statement of divorce by fax to New Delhi office as they were not sent along with initial application package.

Cout in Alberta said that Divorce Petitions are now called statement of divorce.

If we have already sent documents by fax, do you think we should send copies by courier too ?
