Kunjal, my wife got the call Monday morning (India time).

Application received. But i was 100% sure, it was "in process" by cic as i ordered my gcms notes at regular intervals. So never bothered about application going to "IP". :)

Myrah, You might get directly "decision made". "In Progress" is just a vague status in their system at least for "Pre-strike" applicants. Most probably this status will make more sense for newer applicants.

Thanks kejal..they did not specifically told to come to collect the passport..just asked to come without telling the reason.. but i hope its true...as her medical is expiring in a month and they might not want to take a chance with passport not reaching back to us.
