Hey people,
I filed my application and whn i check it on cic website via uci and combination of my sponsor's bdate and stuff it says "in process" and whn i click on it, it says we started processing ur application on 14th may 2013... Does this mean its AOR?? As its filed thru lawyer mail might have gone into her mailbox... Any idea???

Nope it just means that they're working on your application.
Once they've made the decision the status will change to DM and it'll say "We received your application to sponsor XYZ on January 7, 2013.
We started processing your application on January 24, 2013.
We sent you a letter on February 13, 2013 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."(This is how it shows when I check my sponsor's status)

Then it means you've now reached stage 1 AOR + Sponsorship approval and that very day the file gets transferred to NDVO.

Medical requested - Letter dated - 24th Jan 2013 received by my husband on 29th Jan 2013

Permanent Residence application status: Application received - "We received your application for permanent residence on January 7, 2013. Medical results have been received."

Its cleared now thanxx a lot mumgurl... Btw i read somewhere that straightforward cases means no age gaps, same cultural background and i forgot there was one more thing...

Hello .. I am bit confused .. I sent my passport to ndvo yesterday through blue dart and just got message from blue dart :
Shipment through blue dart airway bil ***** was delivered on 26 may to STAMP ..

I am worried what does STAMP stands for n why they didn't mention the high commission address n today is Sunday .. Do ndvo receive passports on Sunday ?? Plz help ??? ??? ??? ???

oh ok... Yea please upload as soon as u hear something from thm... Our lawyer told its upto visa officer to send mails or to upload status online... So may be ur stage might have reached at end but they might not have uploaded...

I tried calling all blue dart number of delhi even mumbai but none is reachble today .. this is mking me more tense .. I am really worried about that STAMP thing n do u know if couriers are delivered on Sunday ??
