I have a query. In our application my corresponding as well as permanent address is of kolkatta
Which is my in-laws house.I was staying there for a month post marriage but
Then i thought of rejoining work. I work for a software firm in pune and i came
Back in april and joined worrk in april.just for info we got married in feb filed for my pr
In march. I have stayed in pune for last 12 years and in the application have given pune address
But the latest address given as permanent and correspondence one is that of
My inlaws house (which is obviously my house as well now ) which is in kolkatta.
Will this pose any kind of problem for my back ground check? just fpr records
Our application was recieved by cic on 25th mar 2013, my husband was approved as a sponsor
On 17th apr 2013,file transffered to chc delhi on 21st april 2013, request for
Passport and landing fee reciept on 30th april,passpprt sent on 2nd may 2013
Via blue dart which chc delhi recieved on 3rd may 2013.since then my(principal applicant)
Status shows application recieved.
Can somebody helpe on this. ..answer my query?

Hello .. I am bit confused .. I sent my passport to ndvo yesterday through blue dart and just got message from blue dart :
Shipment through blue dart airway bil ***** was delivered on 26 may to STAMP ..

I am worried what does STAMP stands for n why they didn't mention the high commission address n today is Sunday .. Do ndvo receive passports on Sunday ?? Plz help ??? ??? ??? ???

hello, I am a Canadian citizen and sponsored my wife in mid January. I received an email form mississuaga after a month saying that file has been approved and forwarded to new delhi. one month after that we received another letter asking for passport, pcc and landing fee. since pcc and medical was already sent we just sent that letter along passport on mar 19. now it has been 9 weeks and we haven't heard anything from them, my lawyer sent them an email asking about passport a month ago but she hasn't heard anything either.
one thing my lawyer told me that they are very busy at newdelhi and sending their files to srilanka. please let me know if everything is happening normal.

its the same for everyone who have sent their passport through blue dart
i sent them via blue dart on 2nd may 2013 which was a thursday and they got it on 3rd may friday.
so when i checked later it said
courier sent 2nd may 2013
courier recieved by stamp at 10 am on 3rd may

so i dont think u should worry

I hav also sent thru blue dart and msg said delivered on 13 may to stamp.....I think when NDVO receives the passport they stamp n sign the delivery note. Just a guess!!

Thanx .. Yes may be cause I have searched in 2012 forms also .. Received :STAMP is wat blue dart delivery status shows .. Finally I am bit tension free ... One more strange thing is that it was delivered on SUNDAY

Thanx. Sanju1986 and Atrayee BHaumik ... do u hv idea if NDVO accepts courier on SUNDAY ?? One more thing I read somewhere earlier in form that courier service notes your passport number but in my case passport number wasn't note , they said it is not required .. Is it so ?
