Hi guys , I filed my citizenship application on 29th May , completed my test on 12 July, got biometric request on 27 august , gave biometrics on 29 august , but I am not sure whether i should pay Biometric fee to ircc and if yes how ? I have already paid fee at biometric centre ( 63 cad ). Anyone of you got BMS request in citizenship application ? Pls let me know the situation

IRCC only wants the report, not the fees, you have nothing to pay.

Thanks very much for prompt reply . But , on ircc page , they have mentioned about 85 cad BMS fee. That point is causing confusion.

If you are a citizen of certain countries or territories, you have to give your biometrics (fingerprints and photograph) when you apply for a:

visitor visa
study permit or
work permit.
Find out if you need to give biometrics.

Fees$CAN
Biometrics – per person85.00


It does not mention citizenship.

I got it . But the quick is - as I have already paid 63 cad at BMS centre ( a third party where I gave mY BMS ) . So , should I pay 85 cad to ircc separately ? And if yes , then how ?

I will repeat as @Seym already did, you don't pay to IRCC. You only pay to the agency whatever fees they ask.

Hi everyone,

I had requested for an extension on 5th sept for the oath ceremony that was scheduled for the 11th of sept.

I had received instructions to download the citizenship certificate on 31st august and now received another email with instructions to download the citizenship certificate on September 15th.

Would this mean that I will soon get another email with the updated ceremony invite?

Hi everyone, for those who have completed physical presence, did you submit a scan of the info page of your passport or a copy of all pages of the passport? Thank you.

For online applications, only the bio page is required to be submitted with the application. If required, IRCC will request you to submit copy of all pages of passport.
Some applicants, attach the full passport pages with the application, in the additional documents section. It is specially recommended for those who have closer to 1095 days and have good amount of travel history.

Called IRCC today and they said the LPP has not started yet. Although it shows in progress on the tracker
And here I thought I might receive an oath invite soon since it has been 2 months since BG was completed and 1 month since the test was completed

Any further update on your case? My wife's been stuck for more than 5 weeks at LPP stage as well, in Vancouver office.
