I applied for citizenship on last week of July 2024.
AOR received in Aug 2024
Citizenship Test requested in 14 Aug 2024.
Test Passed = 6 Sep 2024.
Language skill, Physical Presence & Citizenship Test (altogether) completed/updated on 14 Feb 2025.
Background verification & Prohibition are in progress since 14 Feb 2025.
How long would Background verification & Prohibition take to complete? Any idea
Is this sequence of completion look normal?

You could try reaching out to the MP or even submit the webform, but I’m telling you, it’s a waste of time if you're stuck at the background check.

Citizenship is a privilege, and it’s better to sit back and wait as long as it takes while letting them do their job. I know it’s frustrating, but it is what it is. We all know it shouldn't be like this, but...
