Hi,
could somebody add me here too please..

CPC-M
Inland app received: June 20, 2014

I received an email last Aug 8 from CIC informing me that they have received my application.
Is it the AOR that I've received?

Thank you.

Hey - just wondering if anyone's figured out whether it's possible to make a complaint against CIC? Although the long processing times are ridiculous, and will adversely affect me as I will be forced to leave my employment, what I'm more annoyed about is that CIC has not provided any explanation for the 60% increase in processing time from when I first submitted my application. And not only that, but now Ottawa, and in some cases CPC-M if you can believe, are processing outland applications. There is a distinct lack of transparency from CIC as to the immigration process and that is what I take issue with.

Oh, great news!:)
I received three letters from CIC. One for my spouse and 2 for me... One they sent on 26th august in which they are asking to send them IMM5669E AND IMM5406E again.

Other 2 letters received on 2nd september stated that my spouse met requirements as a sponsor and I get a letters stated that I meet eligibility requirement. I want to know is this AIP???? if yes, how come I didnt get any AOR.

I also called CIC and they said my first stage has been approved now.

Please let me know whatever I received are AIP

are you sure your application isn't be processed as outland? this seems more in line with the outland process. in the sponsor eligibility letter, where did it say the applicant's application was being sent for processing?

what! this means your application was processed before people who submitted a year before you! Maybe they confused your application with an outland application, or maybe they confused the date they received it with 2013 instead of 2014...

If not, then... congratulations, good for you!!! That's really lucky :)

Is this really an AIP... really really... may be they expedite my case cause I have some issues with CBSA. I have been out of work and health for 2 years now so may be they thought they shouldn't give me hard time anymore...

so am I eligible for health?????????

That's typical of outland processing time. Note that you won't receive an Open Work Permit (OWP) with an Outland application and if you still have issues with CBSA there is no public policy against removing you from Canada.

I've seen people get expedited applications because of their problems with CBSA. So yay! good for you, you got AIP. That's going to help your CBSA case too. Which province do you live in? Maybe you should apply for an Open Work Permit, if your problems with CBSA don't stop you form being eligible.

Oh thank you this is what I want to confirm if this is AIP... I am in Ontario... CBSA doesn't stop me for anything but I am not interested in getting work permit.. My spouse is good enough... I am more concern in having health coverage asap... I suppose i can apply for health coverarge now

While there will be some Inland applicants that see this as `unfair' (a person without status getting AIP in less than 2 months, because CBSA requested expediting of your application), all I can say is congratulations!

It's good to see something working as it's supposed to (according to IP-08).
