Hi!!

Some help please.

My partner got her OWP and She would like to visit her partners back home.
She is not from a visa exempt country, what does she need to do?
Apply for a TRV? Can she apply online in Canada or she has to apply outside of Canada?

she can apply for TRV inside Canada either on line or paper application...I did apply inside for a TRV ...and I will be visiting my parents at the end o of the month

It depends on what kind of visa you are under. If you are inside Canada on visitor visa, you cannot apply for a new TRV inside Canada. However if you are on study or work visa, you can apply for a TRV inside Canada.

Got good and weird news from CIC today.

The good news is that I have received my DM letter today!!! Very excited!!!

The weird news is that even though I changed my address months ago to Vancouver, the letter from CIC says that the Etobicoke office will contact me for the landing appointment. What is even more weird is that the letterhead of the same letter has my new Vancouver address!!!

Anybody here has experience with changing the landing location?

Anxiously waiting on my PR card and passport now, maybe it is a good time to surprise the mrs and book a vacation for both of us. Last 2 years have been hard on us.

Call the CIC call centre ASAP!
There was someone on the forum who changed the landing date, so I believe they should be able to change the location.

I think sitting collecting dust, no OWP yet and heard nothing back from CIC except for moving the file to CPC-M and CSQ. yours? and what's your date of AOR?

You can bring the baby with you or not. Either way is fine. We had a baby and child with us at the landing interview as well. No issues.

same here collecting dust and rust! mine was transferred too, from Vegreville to Missisauga. submitted our application last nov. 5, 2013 and rec. nov. 7, 2013. i applied for an OWP under the new pilot 2 days ago since we didn't include it on our appplication.
